I know there has been a lot going on and the strange messages on the network...

[It was easier for him try to ignore the matter of creepy guy torturing people on the network and the incident in the park. ]

But I wonder has everyone who went to the battle managed to return by now? There will be no more trains?

I ask because I have not see Rapunzel since then. Did the Giants maybe take any prisoners? I hope not... but she has not been back to the God house. I did find some of her painting equipment that seems to be addressed to myself and Alice. I wonder, do you think that means she may have returned home?

Yours was a strange meeting too?

[That must have been the way to become acquainted with Rapunzel!]

I met her during a curse that forced us all to live through others worse nightmares... ah! The same curse I met you during actually!

Oh! Aye, I'd met her during those as well. That's not what was strange, though. I'd met a lass named Rapunzel before, ye see, back home.

[And that place was just as strange. If not stranger sometimes.]

She'd...ah, had hair very similar to our Rapunzel. Used it to help scale some rocks, as a matter of fact.

A different lady named Rapunzel, but the same person at the same time?

[Seems to be the theme of this post really. ]

Like the Doctors and the Alices. It should be more unusual than it sounds to me now.

Our Rapunzel also used her hair for climbing. She managed to... well, help me escape from a tower with her hair before.

Aye, like the Alices.

[The Doctors were a wee bit different - or at least as far as Jamie is concerned. However, it's still close enough that he nods, only to remember Leonardo can't actually see him.]

Er, yes. A tower, though? I don't remember seeing a tower around here.

There isn't one. This...

[He stopped long enough to wonder if he should say. ]

This was a place we both found ourselves during that nightmare curse. I was... for a time...

[A breath.]

I had to relive a moment I do not remember fondly, when I was in prison for a crime. During the nightmare Rapunzel rescued me from that. She bent the bars with her hair and we escaped out of the window.

I see.

[But there's a note of sympathy in his voice, reflected a bit in his expression as well. He's been locked up enough times that he can understand the other man's reaction, even if it's not exactly the same as his own.]

Those nightmares did seem to bring up quite a bit of things we'd rather not have had remembered, didn't they? Although...it's funny. That's where I met Rapunzel, too. The nightmares, that is, not in the tower.

The past can never be entirely forgotten, but at least some good did come from it. We made some good friends.

Aye, we did.

[And he'd met Leonardo there, too, and that was also just as good, as far as he is concerned. Especially since he was still here and they could talk about things like this.]

Ye know what we should do? We should go paint something, on one of the walls somewhere, maybe. Something Rapunzel would've liked.

The is inspired! She would enjoy that! It should be something happy, flowers, or a peaceful scene of Asgard. Rapunzel always liked to look on the bright side of things.

Sounds good to me. When are ye free? I'm not much of a painter, but I think I can manage a few wee flowers.

Oh, come by anytime! I can always set aside what ever I am working on!

[Typical procrastinator. ]

Ah...alright, if ye say so.

[The fine art of procrastination isn't something Jamie's as familiar with, but if Leonardo wants to set aside his work to do that, then he can just roll with it too.]

I might stop over a little bit later on today, then. Just going to see if we've any paint left over here from that one mural that got put up on the house first. Think we might somewhere.
