Well, look who we have again? You've been at this for a while, I'll say. Almost seems a shame to lift the veil after so long.

I'm not sure that there ever is a clean answer. I never liked some of the powers here, for that reason. At the same time, to defend someone else's freedom, can a person's path be blocked? I've always felt it was acceptable, if not good, to protect someone else's freedom.

By extension, sometimes it is good to protect others such as here, but it's a dangerous line to tow. The good of the many isn't automatically better than the good of the one. To deny yourself, or someone else's path, just for the sake of the needs of the many, isn't always justified.

i've never been good at feeling out the line. how much is too much? how much is too little? it's a personal decision but different views help.

If one must harm another in such a way, that they should disrupt their personal privacy, dignity, or freedoms, the hypothetical cause has been lost already; in acting as such, one would sacrifice themselves also.
