[The device turns on, revealing a Loras who looks...tired. He has been sleeping for two weeks (he has looked at the date), but he feels no more rested than he would, before.

He has been home. Living for months without knowledge of this place. But as he has woken up--he remembers the prophecy, the future he saw, so many weeks ago.

He knows that when he returns home, it will come true.

There is no escaping it.

So if he looks more serious, older, well. It is just the way of things, now.]

It seems while I slept, I returned home. I do not understand how it has occurred or why I have returned but--

--I can not deny the truth of it.

[He runs his free hand through his mess of curls.]

Can someone tell me what I have missed?

And--how many of you have returned home, and had no recollection of this place? Is that how it happens, always? With no way to use the knowledge of things learned here, back in our worlds?

[To avoid his fate--oh he wishes that he could.]

[Ever the charmer, he pulls her down for a hug, planting a kiss to the top of her curly haired head.]

Awww... Hey, I missed you... It's not as fun here without you, you know.

[She's such a sweet thing; his sister would really enjoy her.]

Sort of? You could say that, yeah... There was also less work at the clinic, so yeah...

[She laughs.]

No, not at all! But I did get worried when you were asleep.

[Loras moves to eat one of the sandwiches, finally, shifting to sit up in the bed better.]

Well, the same goes for me, I hope you know.

[She helps him sit comfortably, and grabs one herself.]

I know, thanks... It's great to have a friend like you.

[He smiles, shrugging.]

Well, I try to be.

[He leans over and gives her a quick kiss on her shoulder.]

[applegoddess]

[She smiles at him.]

You do a good job at it! Except when you disappear like that... [She frowns half-mockingly.]

Well I assure you, if I could avoid that, I would. It was far from pleasant.

[applegoddess]

Well, as long as you're better now...

I am, really. It's...it's good to be here.

[She smiles.]

Now you should probably finish eating and get some real rest this time, so you can be as good as new.

[Loras laughs, moving to eat his sandwich a bit faster.]
