♣ 6 ♣ [video]
[The device turns on, revealing a Loras who looks...tired. He has been sleeping for two weeks (he has looked at the date), but he feels no more rested than he would, before.
He has been home. Living for months without knowledge of this place. But as he has woken up--he remembers the prophecy, the future he saw, so many weeks ago.
He knows that when he returns home, it will come true.
There is no escaping it.
So if he looks more serious, older, well. It is just the way of things, now.]
It seems while I slept, I returned home. I do not understand how it has occurred or why I have returned but--
--I can not deny the truth of it.
[He runs his free hand through his mess of curls.]
Can someone tell me what I have missed?
And--how many of you have returned home, and had no recollection of this place? Is that how it happens, always? With no way to use the knowledge of things learned here, back in our worlds?
[To avoid his fate--oh he wishes that he could.]

[Oh hi, we totally broke in! That was a bit awkward to admit really. ]
There are many people here very skilled with locks.
That's fine; I'm glad you thought to do so.
[Action]
I, um... also borrowed your key after we broke in.
[This was laid down on the nearest table as he lingered by the doorway. Though he couldn't stand there long at all. Loras was back! And uninjured? The future he had spoken of had not been lived yet?
Soon he was hurrying inside and closing the door behind him.]
I was so concerned, after everything you told me...
[The line from the discarded IV was rolled up and hung from the metal rack the bag of liquid hung from before being pushed aside so the edge of the bed could be sat upon. ]
How long were you back at home?
no subject
[Loras smiles, shifting to make room for Leonardo, before reaching out a hand to him.]
...months. I know now, how I will be burned. How I might die.
--that I can do nothing about it, that my own fate seems sealed...
[He sighs, shaking his head.]
Tis a terrible thing.
no subject
I had been afraid you would... When I returned home I lived years of life before finding myself back in Asgard.
[It was a confession of sorts. He had thought memories from here might not return with them but hoped beyond hope that would not be the case for everyone. ]
I am so sorry...
no subject
[At least he's around 19 now?
Loras sighs, smiling fondly as Leonardo strokes his hand.]
Don't apologize for something that isn't your fault. I am only happy that I returned, and have my memories of hear intact. That I still know who you are.
[Returning back to Westeros, and the sharp pain of Renly's death, still near...it is good to have warmth near him once again.]
no subject
[Destiny, bah! Why were they brought here at all if these terrible things could not be changed?]
no subject
[Loras nudges at him, patting at the spot next to him. He's still feeling lousy, but he'd rather be able to curl up with Leonardo and be miserable than otherwise.]
But I have you, I have my friends...I have some semblance of a life, here. It can be enough.
no subject
If they were going to sulk, it was far preferable to sulk together.]
I did miss you, a great deal, while you were away.
no subject
[Loras sighs, curling into Leonardo, just tangling limbs, trying to settle into a place he remembers. It hurts his heart, in such a clear way, and if he is clinging, slightly, he apologizes.]
I am sorry that I caused you worry. I--I believe I know who killed Renly, now. Truly.
no subject
You discovered the murderer!? Who was it? What were they after? Did you capture the culprit!?
[The questions flew until he realized how overwhelming all of them must have been.
Scusate.
The flurry of words was gently apologized for with a loving kiss to the top of Loras's curl decorated head.]
no subject
[Loras frowns, gripping at Leonardo's shirt.]
He is out of my reach. Dragonstone, the place I meet my fate, was his stronghold, but I know he is not there. I do not know if I ever will be able to hunt him down and make him pay.
no subject
[He swallowed hard, remembering the terrible story Loras had told him of his fate in that battle. When he returned home... that story would be made true.]
Why you attacked the castle? You were hoping he would be there?
no subject
I had little choice.
no subject
Instantly this Queen was disliked. It was bad enough to have to deal with nobles when you were only a commissioned artist but when there were so many lives at stake... and moreover when Loras was involved...]
I never cared for those kinds of people who say they will help you if only you do this for them in return. I know it is impossible to avoid with rulers but it would be better if they had more consideration.
no subject
She may get her wish, as it seems.
no subject
[Oh he... he felt lightheaded for a moment and had the headrest of the bed not been there to catch him and bring him back to his senses he might well have slid off the bed entirely.]
Why would she do... even contemplate something like that?!
no subject
Does it truly matter, why?
no subject
[But, such cruelty! To go to such lengths to destroy a man and his family...
The horror and faintness he had felt was quickly replaced with an anger that set his jaw. His next words were harsh and held a threat just beneath the surface.]
If only she were here. I would have a few friends to introduce her to!
[Friends one usually finds it best not to speak of, but with Loras it was different. They shared a connection and a love... there was no harm in talking freely around him.]
no subject
[Loras sighs, and moves to pull Leonardo back down, brushing his lips against his gently.]
There is nothing to do about it, now. We just...have to try and ignore it.
[Or at least, Loras will try. It is the best he can do, some days.]
no subject
Lei ha ragione.
[Leonardo spoke softly now, in nearly a whisper, a far cry from the outrage of a moment ago. ]
You are usually right.
[He leaned in to that gentle caress, trying to steal a moment from his love's lips, so close but tantalizingly distant.]
no subject
Well, I do try to be right. It helps make things easier.
[Though he knows he is usually wrong. Or...or he has been wrong, in the worst way, recently.]
Did you work on anything why I was gone?
no subject
I may have done something...
[A curl was captured and twirled around a finger. Loras did have the most beautiful locks of hair.]
Does it matter?
no subject
[Loras smiles, settling back against Leonardo.]
At least not to me.
[He's sure someone cares about Leonardo's work. Most of it goes well over Loras' head, so he just enjoys it for how happy it makes Leo.]
no subject
I can get back to those things later. You are far more important!
