[This didn't go the way Alice had imagined it to be. There's nothing at first but some scampering and what appears to be a small, white flash that sprints by. Or more like a small, white fluffy thing that runs by, followed by Alice Liddell senior scampering after it. It takes some coaxing on Alice's part, who seems honestly more excited than frustrated. What is this?

She picks it up, but it's not what it may seem at first. That would be a puffball of a dog. Who Alice absolutely coos over, snuggling the little thing.]

Oh, finally! She just put up such a fight to show you all. But look everyone? Isn't she just precious? I think you are.

[You know, if you find a small dog chewing on your hands cute. Why not? Alice does.]

Mr. Will Graham was kind enough to let me give her a new home. Ow. But I haven't thought of a name for her! She reminds me of a rabbit even a snowball. I am afraid if I let her go in the snow, she'll fall into a snow drift and I'll take forever to find her.

[But the way she's lit up and cradles the dog just shows how over-joyed she is.]

I wish for the life of me I knew what was so delicious about fingers.

But of course she is! She just happens to be small and have a very thick coat.

[She wonders if this sounds silly. Sure, cradle the puppy, Alice. It seems to be a playful little thing while she kicks her hind legs while Alice holds her.]

But are those a bit childish? I wasn't sure. When I was a child I had a kitten named Snowdrop, you see.

It depends, I suppose. Either way, I suspect she'll be satisfied.

That seems true. Animals clearly have some sort of conscious like anyone else or at least I hope so.

Yes! I wasn't aware of such a breed of dogs before! She seems to be little energetic, although that's no different from a kitten.

[Of course she says this barely wincing at the little dog pulling on the sleeves of her dress.]

Oh, I don't mind it. I will try and keep her away from things she can easily chew on. Although I doubt she'll be able to pick up most of it.

Why doesn't it surprise me you would say something like that. You seem like the whimsical type.

She looks like a sweet puppy, Miss Liddell. What kinds of names do you favour for pets?

I am not quite sure. I was thinking of something a bit more adult compared to the prior names I gave my cats in the past when I was a little girl.

Oh? What did you call them?

Dinah was the mother cat and her children were named Snowdrop and Kitty. Granted, when I had them, I was about seven years old.

I'm not sure about fingers either! Kind of crunchy, you know? Maybe dogs are into that.

They're not that crunchy. Fleshy, but not crunchy. Perhaps with a dead being, but certainly not a live one.

[Clearly she's thinking about that one too hard.]

It must be a puppy thing. She's already tried to pull at my hair.

All those bones do snap! But then, they do snap pretty easy, I guess it wouldn't be the best place to go if you wanted some resistance for your chewing.

[It's the obvious thing to think about.]

Puppies are a bit excitable. Are you gonna teach her manners?

Not with those jaws.

[Alice and the little dog pass a look at each other.]

Oh, yes, I will- well, not manners, I will just likely look into something else she can teeth on. I've had kittens when I was a child.

Oh. wolves and dogs. ]

She looks nice. Maybe "rabbit" or "Snowball" would be fine.

[Ears. On a little boy's head.

You'd think that would be something to question for Alice, but she gives a sheepish smile. Or rather, she forces one, taking the little dog into her arms and holding her, close to her heart.]

She is very nice. All dogs are nice, they're wonderful animals. And perhaps. I am still wondering what other names I can give her that are like snow.

There are Japanese words related to it. "Rikka" or "tenka" means snow, "Shiroi" white, "masshiro" pure white, "koyuki" small snow, "yukidama" snowball, "Yukiko" is a game where you make a big snowball by rolling it around in the snow.

"Yuki" is my sister's name. It also means snow. [ but honestly, he doesn't know how he feels if someone named their pet Yuki ]

[If anyone got the name "Elizabeth" for a dog after speaking with her, she would feel the same. A fond smile comes across her face as she looks down at her.]

"Koyuki"? That seems fitting. After all, she is small.
