[The video pops on and the girl looking into the feed seems more than just alarmed, she's a bit distressed. She's newly arrived to this place and normally, she might just roll with it. Normally, she might just exit this building and try to figure out what's going on, but instead -- something is definitely wrong. Shockingly wrong and she can't really ignore this one.]

Right, so this whole thing I just got explained to me -- fine, that's ... that's whatever it is, but I need to see a doctor.

Right now - as in, this is not something to wait around about. I'm not bleeding or anything, but I definitely need a doctor.

You're going to have to come to me, because I have no clue where I am right now.

[It is, more or less, whatever Hayley wants on the doctor front. Elijah can understand if she wants privacy. He's not Klaus who claims ownership over her just because she's carrying a child related to him by blood, okay.]

Heimdall. Whatever you need, Hayley, you only have to ask.

[She nods, probably too much, but she feels slightly numb. The shock has started to wear off and the numbness is setting in. How could they just do this to someone? How could they just think that it's okay to do something like this to a person?]

Heimdall. I can remember that. I -- [She wants to tell him that she's scared. That she doesn't understand and can't explain how she feels right now, but it just feels wrong to her.]

[Elijah could offer her platitudes, but he won't. He can't tell Hayley that it will be okay when he truthfully doesn't know himself. If she's lost her child, nothing can possibly set that right. And no amount of saying as much is really going to alleviate what she's feeling right now.]

[If she doesn't rush to Elijah straight away, he'll understand.]

[She nods and leaves his side, despite not really wanting to. She knows that she needs to do this on her own. Even if it terrifies her.

She can be strong enough to do this on her own.

Just like she would've been strong enough to raise the child alone if it had come to that.]
