[The video pops on and the girl looking into the feed seems more than just alarmed, she's a bit distressed. She's newly arrived to this place and normally, she might just roll with it. Normally, she might just exit this building and try to figure out what's going on, but instead -- something is definitely wrong. Shockingly wrong and she can't really ignore this one.]
Right, so this whole thing I just got explained to me -- fine, that's ... that's whatever it is, but I need to see a doctor.
Right now - as in, this is not something to wait around about. I'm not bleeding or anything, but I definitely need a doctor.
You're going to have to come to me, because I have no clue where I am right now.

Oh, there's the hospital! In Sigyn district! I could take you!

I guess I'm where everyone arrives here. Where should I go? [She's not even going to comment on the appearance of the girl offering her help. Nope. She just needs to focus on this current problem.]

I'm not injured... it's -- it's more complicated than that.

Complicated how?
video ||
It's sort of personal.

Okay. There's a hospital here with doctors. I can show you where it is, if you want.

I'm on my way to the hospital. Is there anyway you can meet me there?

Great. Damon Salvatore is here? This is not surprising... but I don't have time to deal with your smart-ass remarks. Raincheck?

Is it an absolute emergency, in case I need to bring anything other than basic equipment?

[It sounds crazy -- insane even.]
I was pregnant and I'm not... I'm not anymore.

[But he pauses when he hears Hayley's voice echoing down a hallway. Elijah abandons the notion of leaving to follow the sound to her.]
Hayley, what's wrong?

Elijah. [Sometimes all it takes is a name to convey exactly how distressing her situation is. She moves toward him, hugging him immediately. She had almost forgotten what he had done, where she had been before she was suddenly in this place.]
The baby... [Saying it out loud makes it almost too real and she's not exactly sure how to feel about it all.]
It's... [She knows how crazy it'll sound.] something's wrong -- I -- it's not...
[She pulls back, unable to really figure out how to say it. Moments ago she'd said it to a doctor, but for some reason it's more difficult to tell Elijah that somehow she's lost the child that had been her reason for living.]
It's just gone.

[Crazy might not be the word Elijah would use to describe it, but he's certainly confused what she means. He frowns as she pulls back, but keeps his hands on the small of her back.]
Gone?

I can't explain it and I already asked for a doctor, but I can't feel it. I would know if something was wrong, but this isn't something wrong - it's just... nothing. [Which is wrong, she realizes this, but it's far more worrying to her that it's nothing than if it had been cramping or a sharp pain in her side. That she could handle. She could go to a doctor and they'd monitor her and things would be fine.]
