Hello! My name is Remus Lupin; I've been here for a while, but this is my first time posting here, so, er, hello. I've a few questions, if you don't mind answering:

Firstly, how many of you aren't human originally? Vampires, werewolves, succubi, veela, angels, et cetera. And if you are, how did coming to Asgard change you, in terms of your physiology?

Secondly! How many of you come from worlds that have time travel? And if so, what are their rules regarding changing things around via time? How many of you have met people from your significant past or future?

Obviously, I'll respect everyone's privacy; if you respond privately, I absolutely will not tell anyone what you've written-- which, I know you don't know me, but my word seems to be one of the few things I have left in Asgard.

As it happens, I am not a human; I am a Time Lord. When I first arrived here, I lost one of my hearts, along with... certain other senses and abilities.

[He's actually got his heart back now, if not the other stuff, but he sees no reason to advertise that.

As for the other thing...]

I do quite a bit of travelling in time, as it happens. For the most part, history adapts to whatever little alterations I might cause--though there are events I can't change, for one reason or another, but I know those when I see them. And you could certainly say I've met significant people from my past or future--in fact, there are at least five of them here, unless a few more of me popped up when I wasn't paying attention.

[Sandy has no qualms about talking about this. The little gold man waves at Remus with a bright smile before the fingers of his right hand glow and he draws the outline of a human in the air before putting an X through it and pointing to himself. He was not human before Asgard.

Then he waves his fist through the crossed out human, cleaning his 'canvas' before drawing a beach. He pauses, allowing Remus to see what he made before making little dots indicating sand rising from the shore, little dots that rise and eventually make Sandy's silhouette. In his world, he is made of sand.

And then he wipes away the beach and the sand particles before drawing a bracelet around the glowing silhouette's wrist and then tracing a representation of a human internal system within the silhouette itself. A brain, a heart, nerves, a stomach, intestines, veins--he has become fleshy since getting here.

As for time travel? In another space in the air, he draws a clock with an X through it. There isn't time travel where he comes from, or at least he hopes there isn't. That would lend itself to a lot of messiness.]

Well, some people were not human originally, at home, but were changed into humans when coming here. Some were, say, werewolves, or vampires, or what have you, which are . . . not human. It's not intended as an insult, believe me.

This core, also known as the "Fruit of Life", allows Angels an unlimited amount of energy, thus food, water and other basic human functions are obsolete to us. Without it, I had to learn to adapt to this body's human functions. learn what to eat in order to remain healthy, learn to sleep and to keep off the cold.

I don't think anyone's ever really regarded bleeding as fun, but eating and sleeping-- well, there are quite a few merits to both.

I can only begin to guess how relieving it must be. After you've seen to the proper celebrations, at some point you ought to do me the honour of discussing your particular favourites -- there is a library here to take advantage of, after all, and I put a great deal of faith in your recommendation.

Well, for starters, I was a werewolf as well. I wanted to see how many other people were in the same boat I was-- and, beyond that, to see how many other different types of people were here.

Oh, just-- well, it's fascinating, isn't it? We all come from such different worlds, but there's such similarities between each. Beyond which, I'm simply curious. At home we have a lot of different species of people, some of which wouldn't take so well to being human, some of which would love it. I'm curious how that differs.
