[ The video to the network starts with a smug little smile, as most of Thiazi’s correspondences do. The field beneath the video that would typically display a name instead simply reads t̶̬h͓͇̪̗̥ ̷a͚̙͙̻͔̳z̷͔̣͖̬͚ ]

It’s been too long, Odin’s little bootlickers.

[ The sound is distorted, distant, as if coming through a loose connection. Thiazi’s cold smile is perfectly clear, however. ]

I am the Queen of Frost, and once again, the futility of your -

[ Whatever she’s saying is cut off abruptly by a sharp crashing sound from nearby. She looks quickly to the side, and her expression is less 'alarmed' and more 'off-put.' ]

You-

[The response is loud enough to be clearly heard carrying over her end of the connection, booming and unmistakably irritated.]

What do you think you’re doing?

[ Thiazi stands and turns, a snarl on her face and in her tone. ]

Surt. I was the one who began this attack before you and your army- [ The word is dripping with sarcasm. ] -charged in to attack, and we shall be the ones to-

[ She gestures widely then, and the video and audio both distort further as Thiazi steps back and a tall blonde man storms into sight. The sound cuts completely, leaving the wavering and staticky impression of the two of them bickering heatedly, before the video abruptly ends. ]


[ OOC Notes: Thiazi and Surt are both on the scene in their attack on Asgard, and will be responding in a small capacity to people who reply to this post! This is backdated to Day 362, and is a part of the House Divided event. ]

[Have a challenging look back. There don't need to be any words there, not really, but damned if Thiazi gets to hog the attention.

Whatever she's talking about doesn't matter anyway. I'm the one in charge here.

[It's a low growl. Whatever she thinks she's pulling here, this was supposed to be his fight, damn it.]

[Watching the video transmission before it distorted entirely, Soushi could not help take additional notes over the situation, realizing that his assumptions were correct over the matter of the current attack. But, what he didn't know is the shaky relationship between the two parties. Thiazi does not seem, from the tone of her voice, respect Surt at all.]

It's always a true delight to get the chance to hear about the famous Thiaza I have heard many wonderful stories about. I would never believe a "dog" such as myself would be given the chance to admire your dominance.

[All said in his usual calm and very formal way of speaking, but if anyone knew Soushi -- they would notice how he did not use a single honorific for Thiaza.]

Your power is quite impressive. I have never met a woman with the abilities you currently possess. It's only a shame that the other individual, who I have never heard of, has ungraciously and boldly interrupted your wonderful speech. Will he be punished for stepping out of line? From the way you spoke his name, it feels as though he shares the same relationship with you as I do with my wonderful and gracious owner. Is he your "dog", by any chance?

[ Thiazi snorts, the audio of the feed still distorted, warped and hollow. ]

You talk too much.

[A dog. Is this a joke?

Someone with a little more finesse and self-control might not bother to dignify that with a response, but Surt is not that person. His expression is thoroughly disgusted, at least in part because he actually kind of concurs with Thiazi about this guy talking too much-- which only pisses him off more.]

The only one getting punished here is going to be you.

[Oh, he looks like he's amused...except if you look closely. Keeping it together by his fingernails is more like it.]

Oh, you just said my favorite word that invariably comes out of the mouths of megalomaniacal idiots. "Futility". You always show your hand when you do that, and let it slip that you don't actually know anything beyond what your ego has told you.

What's next? [He takes on a fake "evil villain" voice.] "You will all bow before me! Resistance is useless! I am Thiazi and you will obey me!"?

[Sorry, Master. At least you're not here to hear him use your favorite line as a joke.]

How about this: You bring back our friends and go have your little lovers' spat with Surt somewhere else, eh?

[ Thiazi regards him, her expression bored. ]

Sad, are you? That I'm through with you, I mean. Perhaps I'll make your loved ones my playthings next -- I admit that I get restless waiting for this world to finish dying.

Ah, mi bella, while you make incompetence look very good indeed, I do not think I will follow in the trend. It would clash with my coloring, you see, but do go on as you are; you look like you are having fun enough for one. Or two, I suppose.

If I had ever considered you a true threat, my fears would be soothed by the number of you that would prefer to devote time to giving me lip over rescuing your peers.
