[The world fell back into focus rather suddenly and River finds herself dropping to her knees with the feeling of the world overwhelming her.

She takes a few sharp breaths, and her hands are shaking a little as she fiddles around with the bracelet, trying to get it to turn on again.]

The world went out of focus. [She sounds apologetic and a little scared.] Blurry and cold. Everything fit right but the world was wrong. Found a place in a different puzzle, the one next to this one.

[Her hands are shaking little and she looks around her, uncertain of what to do now. Of what she's missed and how to slip back into the new old world she's found herself in again.]

This one. [She states it with a distance in her tone, dreamy like lilt to her voice.] She was lost int he grey but she's come back now. The world remembered who she was and she was allowed to come back.

[Ooook, she has a strange way of speaking...]

Ohhh... I see... You lost your bracelet? Wow, that just... Well, that sucks...

[She hasn't experienced that herself, but she remembers Loras telling her about it.]

[She nods, frowning.] Everything wen tout o focus, the world bled away until everything was grey. Then I found my way back, found the bracelet and now...Now it's all too bright. Everything is more vivid than she remembers

I am glad you found it... It must feel terrible...

[littlesoul]

It feels like the world falls away, like you're nothing but background noise. Then yo stop, you come face first into the spotlight and it's terrifying.

[applegoddess]

Are you alright? Can I do something for you?

[littlesoul]

She's trying, trying to get back on her feet again. Remember how to walk on two legs and speak like a person. If you an make her remember, that's good enough.

[applegoddess]

Just, try doing it in short steps... One foot behind the other.

[littlesoul]

Feet. Feet walking. One in front of the other. Step, pause, step, pause.

[She looks uncertain, as if she feels like she might be doing something wrong, though she's not sure what.]

[applegoddess]

[Gaia nods with a soft smile.]

Pausing is good, don't try to rush it, and keep control of both your feet.
