I never got a chance to use the network or introduce myself on it. Seeing as how there appears to be some down time as the community rebuilds I thought I'd take the opportunity to do so. My name is Naoto Shirogane. I'm from a small town in Japan called Inaba though given the amount of world representations there are here I'd be surprised if many have heard of it.

[Sans her, her friends and everyone else she's spoken to already about it. Buuuut that's not really important in the end. She moves on to more important matters...]

In light of recent events I'd like to ask if there's a way to acquire firearms here. I'm afraid mine was never brought with me and seeing as how threats are very real here I'd feel safer having one. [Her magical fire powers are cool and all but... yeah. She's more threatening with a gun than with magic she barely knows how to control.]

I'm also curious if there's any way to acquire items from home. It might be a long shot but I thought I'd inquiry about this as well.

You can buy firearms at a number of dealers in the city, depending on what you want. You can also find appropriate weapons at the shrine for your god. Those who have 'drawing life' may also help you, but you'll want to find someone more skilled.

And I was told to get something from home, you'll have to speak to your god as well, but sometimes, things turn up anyway.

Is there a particular way to contact them?

Usually at their shrine. You may have to give an offering of some sort. But if you aren't sure what to bring, you can use your bracelet to ask in advance.

Harry's already told you about the shrines. Those are free. But, even if you're more the pistol or rifle type, you might look into a hold-out, just in case.

I'm most efficient with revolvers but I'm familiar with firearms in general and could certainly use to learn various kinds of them if I had to.

Obtaining a one shouldn't be so troublesome that I would need to use something else. [though she supposes learning to use different types of guns would be beneficial either way....]

Pistols are better than rifles if you ask me. Faster, easier to carry, lighter, less punch. But you shouldn't have trouble getting your hands on one of them either way.

You might look into a holdout of some kind just in case. [Ponder ponder.] What's your name?

If you really need on there is someone that might have a few to spare, but other than that you can also get a cannon.

You said you wanted a firearm, but if you're able to get one. You can easily get a canon as weapon, it's shot things.

[ It's probably not out of the norm to be asking for weapons in a place like this, but the idea still seems weird to him with people all having powers. They aren't as extreme as mutations back home, though, so a gun would probably still be a good idea. Granted someone's familiar enough with one not to shoot themself in the leg. ]

Yes, I'd say so. And yes, I do. I learned when I was quite young though my history of usage is only with smaller ones like pistols and revolvers. I have extensive knowledge of other types but I've never actually held them.
