[Well, it's been a while since Percy posted on the network. A little over a month. Part of that was due to being gray... But after waking up after an extra long sleep today he's got a perplexing question.]

So-- Uh... How many people go to sleep and get memories from home? This is the second time now, but--

[He's frowning at his bracelet.]

I'm pretty sure my bracelet was a different shade of purple. I didn't think these things could get dirty. [Or that he got his this dirty, but details. There's a more somber energy about him, now, though as he considers.]

Anyway, there's a lot of new people since I last used the network. I'm Percy and if you haven't used the ball pits and nets in Heimdall you're missing out. The slide's a good way to not have to walk down the steps in the morning, too. [Yes, he did that. |b] I don't know about the rest of the places, but anyone not in Heimdall is missing out.

[---He's not sure what to say. Really. And shrugs.]

It's about time that you woke up.

[ She smiles at him, but clearly she's concerned -- while extra long sleep isn't unusual for him (what? he sleeps a long time, or longer than she does) it's the 'memories from home' part that worries her. The smile doesn't quite reach her eyes, in a normal 'I've got twenty things on my mind' way. ]

Memories from home? Like what?

[ Because as far as she could imagine, they had been pretty much remembering the same things...up until now. ]

Hey, you could've woken me up if you wanted to.

[Hey, hey likes to sleep. And he hasn't miss work from sleeping... just the city being destroyed and grayness. It happens. Still, it's only been a few days but he's considerably unreadable. He's not sure he should say anything at all. :x]

[ Teasing, but very sincere; he is quite cute. Not that she went into his room -- she was too busy scuttling around, going to work, all those great things you do when you don't have anyone cute to snuggle up to and watch bad movies in the living room with.

Still....the smile leaves quickly. ]

That reminds me I need to get Leo to install some locks.

[It's teasing in turn. He finds it easier to lighten the mood when talking to her. But he's trying not to think about that or anything else.]

The worst vacation spot ever. But we make it work.

[ She laughs, but it's lost a lot of enthusiasm; she's still worrying about their other conversation, and it shows. ]

I believe you. I just wish I knew what went on so we could talk about it.

[He doesn't want to let her know all the horrible stuff. There's a lot of it. Or how they left friends to die. Not if she doesn't know. But on the other hand she has the right to know. Just... Tartarus is not something you share over video chat.]

When you get home? 'Though you're so smart you can probably guess it all without trying.

I don't know if I can guess it all, but we don't have to talk about all of it.

[ She pauses, and gives him a long look -- studying his face, his green eyes, his messy hair. ]

I'm so glad you're alright. If anything had happened to you down there-- I don't know what I would do. Will do. [ A small smile. ] Gods, time travel is so confusing.

Hello, Percy. I was wondering if I might inquire as to your experiences regarding your memories from home. I am new to this city, and you said this is the second time you've experienced this phenomena. I admit I am curious as to how it works, exactly.

[Percy just has the bracelet read the text to him since, yeah. He figured out how to do that a while ago.]

Sorry, but it's exactly like how I said. I just went to sleep a day and a half ago and slept through it. It was too real not to be just any dream.

And you awoke with fresh memories, with your consciousness altered from your new experiences? Could I ask how much time seemed to pass while you were asleep? Your memories... How far do they go before you awoke?

Yeah, that's how it goes. I couldn't really tell you. I wasn't exactly in any place to tell time. A week, maybe, but it definitely felt longer.

Did something significant happen? I'll not ask what unless you would like to speak of it, but... I wonder if it was enough to alter your life essence, so much so that you are now tied to a different god, and that is why your bracelet has changed.

[He shifts uneasily, but despite that he's not quite readable on what he feels. Pulling a face he finally settles.]

Yeah, significant. That's definitely it.

There it is, then. The mechanics of how this might work are a mystery to me, although I have a couple theories...

Personally, I think they just like to mess with us when we get comfortable. That's what gods usually do.

Have you experience directly interacting with gods in your world prior to this one?

Yeah, they seem to think interrupting a guy's shower for a quest is a good idea.

Your world's gods have you take on quests. What sort? Are they incapable of undergoing these quests themselves or are they simply delegating work that holds less priority?

It has happened before. Those memories, were they good?

What's a ball pit?

That would depend on your definition of good. [So no.]

No. I got to do it the fun way, get sent home and experience it all. [Leo looks older, leaner with longer and shaggier hair. His clothes are different, a pair of jeans with a white shirt and an army fatigue jacket. He's standing outside but clearly on his way back.]

Let's trade what the last thing we saw was before we got back. It'll be like a party!

Not really. We were boarding the ship to keep going. So we both lucked out on the cool new thing to talk about.

That's fine. [He's a bit more at ease at least. With his hands in his pockets he starts walking forward. But he doesn't fiddle with anything. Just walks with an easy sort of stride.]
