[She's only been here for a few days, quietly observing the network and the city. Mitsuru hasn't gone out to very many of the festivities, and any times she's gone out have been for exploring the city. She really isn't all that interested in dressing up in foreign clothes just for fun. Not her style.

Getting information though, that's more Mitsuru's thing. So this morning she is down in the lobby in Odin's house, sitting very neatly and properly in one of the lounge chairs, not wanting to disturb her new roommate by making this post.]

Good morning. My name is Mitsuru Kirijo, a recent arrival to this city. I've been informed recently of the hard times this city has had with regards to the war, and as such, I do hope that everyone has been enjoying the festival and gets the opportunity to relax.

First off, I'd like to ask for some opinions. I want to arm myself in the event that any sort of attack takes place, and while I've noticed a few blacksmiths and armories around the different districts, I would like advice on which one provides the best quality items. Affordability is not an issue, and I am looking specifically for an establishment that focuses more on rapiers.

Next, I'd like to get more involved in efforts related to this war or any organizations that have communications with the gods. I have not had experience in fighting in a war before, but I believe I may be able to provide some assistance in situations if the need arises.

Finally, I... [She falters for a moment. Her expression still remains fairly professional, but it's clear that this is something that she feels awkward in doing. Which would be correct since she's never actually had to do this before. What a rich kid.] ...I'll be looking for employment during my stay here. If anyone has any knowledge of recent openings or opportunities... or even advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I am. I went there on a class trip last yeah. I'm from Inaba. It's a small town nearby. [Mitsuru might not have heard of it though since it's such a small little place...

But more importantly she knows of the group.] I've also read a particular case file concerning the Kirijo Group in the past so the name rung a bell.

I... may have heard of that before. Some sports teams have organized trips there before. [Not that she knows a lot about it or has been there herself. She just knows it from the paperwork of the student council.]

Twelve years ago there was a particular incident that occurred on the Kirijo-owned Tatsumi Port Island. An explosion as it turns out that took the lives of many people.

I was quite young at the time however I have reviewed the case merely because there were a lot of rumors and strange theories that circulated the event. It was quite intrigued and in the end it was a matter left unsettled.

[this is the part where someone with better social graces would tell Naoto this is probably not a thing to bring up to a member of the Kirijo family....

but at this point Naoto has no idea the rumors about some experiment were true. she just thought the case was interesting/she was offering Mitsuru her answer and the main reason she's familiar with the family name.]

The matter is still currently left unsettled to my knowledge, but I have heard of the rumours surrounding it.

Are you a member of the police force of Inaba? [He sounds quite young to be a detective, but how would a kid get a hold of important files like that?]

Yes, I am. My name is Naoto Shirogane. My grandfather has quite the prestigious reputation. [Though she supposes that doesn't mean Mitsuru knows the name Shirogane or even recognizes its influence within the police force but...]

I suppose I was simply curious if you knew anything about it is all.

Shirogane. I believe I've heard of that family name before. [She's not familiar with it's influence, but she remembers hearing about it about before when she was younger.] It's a pleasure to meet you.
