[A new face pops up on the network tonight, and anyone who's been to Sigyn's Welcome Hall can recognize the living area. Jane's curled up on one of the couches, and she certainly looks tired, but it's doubtful she's been able to sleep if she's awake now.]

Um...hi, Asgard. Or whoever's awake, I suppose. [She glances aside.] Geez, this is silly, why don't I just wait until morning? [Maybe because you're finally feeling right in the head? It's been two days, hun, time to bite the bullet.] Oh, whatever. I might as well ask my question.

I've been reading things on the network since I arrived, and I noticed that there are lots of entries about some sort of incident, and someone named Thiazi. What exactly happened? It seems like it was pretty awful, and I don't know whether I should be concerned or not. If I'm really to stay here, I should know what to expect, right? Not much else I can do.

That's all I really wanted to know. I understand if it's something difficult to talk about, and if you'd rather avoid it, but I can't fall asleep tonight, and if you happen to be awake anyway, I don't mind chatting for a while either. [And then, because she really should've introduced herself before,] My name is Jane Crocker, by the way. Some of my friends have been here for some time, to my understanding - Roxy Lalonde and Dirk Strider, if you know them - but I'd like to get to know the folks here, too.

I was out of the city at the time. This isn't the first time Thiazi has struck, and probably won't be the last. Do you remember your Norse folklore?

[It's actually nice to see a friend respond out of all the people here. Jane shifts on the couch.]

It wasn't exactly on the top of my school's curriculum, but some things have been jumping out at me, so to speak. I've been pouring over those guides, too - the childish one AND the serious one. Whether it's folklore or not feels like a big question right now, and I want to get the smaller ones out of the way first.

[A pause.] I guess that's just a roundabout way of saying that I don't, nor do I know how much that matters.

[ The 'sir' throws him off guard slightly, before he relaxes and smiles at her. ] Just 'Freyr' is fine, miss. And - ah, let me start with Thiazi. She is the Queen of the Frost Giants, and determined to make sure that Ragnarok comes to fruition. It would mean the end of the worlds - ours and all of yours, included.

Oh, you know those guys? They're great, Dirk's making me murderclaws!

I'm not great at questions though, but I can try! Sometimes we go out and kill giants, and sometimes they come here and we kill them too. And I guess sometimes the frost lady curses us to kill each other. It's awesome here, you'll love it!

-Um. Curses us to kill each other? Hold on a second! I don't know about you, but forced murder isn't exactly something I would call "awesome"!

That's 'cause you've never tried it. --Okay, neither have I, but still! But yeah, some people got hit super hard by the curse, and started gutting natives right and left. And a few of us travelers too, it was amazing! I got some great pictures out of the deal-

But yeah, I think a couple of the accidental murderers were from your world too- maybe you guys are extra susceptible or something.
