Marigold and I are going to paint and clean up the graffiti a-and everything. [She almost said blood again but refrained. She doesn't know what else to do. She doesn't know how else to help except in a way she knows best.]

Ah, well... [ How to do the right words on this one.

He momentarily considers Arthur. And Leon. And his old philosophy, that you couldn't trust any noble as far as you could throw them, and may as well never give them a chance because they'd never give you one. Strange to think of how easily some things can change. ]

Not all of them, no. Just the stuck-up ones. Even some of the common folk get to being that way. It's not about titles. Just about the person.

Hmm, that is true, I suppose. I've met some nasty sorts who just were nasty because I'm a child. I suppose... well I suppose the sad thing is that even people from other cultures and planets have nasty sorts. Which is really rather unfortunate. Even an Egg can be rather cross.

And you see Humpty Dumpty is an egg. Well, I met Humpty Dumpty, he was very... well... as you say, snobbish.

I would certainly think so, but there you have it. A rude sort, really, quite full of his self importance. Just because the king is willing to send people to put you together again, doesn't mean you're better than others.

So yes, that's why I said sometimes even an egg. Have you met someone you were surprised to be... well... like Humpty Dumpty, I suppose?

Ahh... not really, no. [ He doesn't want to get into his lifelong bias against nobility, particularly, but it's true enough. Never expect anything good, and low-down behavior stops being a surprised. ] I've been pleasantly surprised, though. Always nice to find a good person when you expect them to be stuck up.
