[As big and wondrous as Asgard is, Akihiko won’t turn down the chance to explore a new place – maybe even find some additional challenges along the way.

Besides, in all honesty, it will be nice to get away for a while, and try to take his mind off of all the heavy stones weighing down on him.

Akihiko greets the network with a friendly grin, determined to show optimism and encouragement toward others, as usual.] Showcase our talents, huh? So they wanna see if we can win this war without our original powers.

[He lifts a clenched fist just then, in a display of strength and resolve.] Fine with me. Come on, guys! We can take this challenge! Let’s throw out some ideas. What’ve you all got in mind to show ‘em? And this Vanaheim place – have any of you ever been there before?

[He lowers his fist after a moment as his expression softens a bit.] Oh, and for people that wanna stay here, help us take care of things till we get back, okay? [There’s at least one person in mind that he isn’t sure about, as to whether or not he will want to go.] But don’t worry, we’ll convince ‘em for sure!

[Akihiko smiles faintly at him, unsure of what else to say. Being orphaned at a young age, he didn't remember his parents. His younger sister had been practically his entire world when they were children.

And then his face perks up at hearing his request.] Yeah, of course! I am worried about leaving you guys behind, but... this is important too. Anything specific in mind you wanna learn?

Why don't we focus on punches and blocks, since I'm still new? We can see if I can pick up easily enough and go on.

You got it. What do you already know? Or should we start from scratch?

I know how to throw a punch. I, er, my cousin was a boxer, and I learned a bit from him.

And I know to not let the other person hit me. I've not always been good at that one.

[Akihiko grins somewhat proudly.] Is that so? Then I’ll have to test out your techniques for myself. I was on the boxing team back in high school. I’m glad you have some experience; it should make the transition easier.

[He tilts his head, laughing a little.] Evasion’s the second step. There’s some groundwork you gotta do before that. I’ll show what I mean. Where do you wanna meet up? And when? We head out in the morning.

[Harry realizes very quickly that he is going to have to confess to that sooner or later.

Probably sooner.

How about now? And the arena. Do you know where that is?

Fine with me! And yeah - in the Thor District, right? [He's been there a few times for training.] Do you have a pair of gloves? You can wear mine, if they'll fit ya.

I don't have any. I can use yours, or look around there and see if they have.

[Harry imagines that there has to be something, given what it's used for.]

[Akihiko shrugs a little.] The equipment there’s a little worn out, but it should be okay for practice. I’ll go home and grab mine, though, just in case. Meet you there in a bit?

[He’s about to take off, but then remembers.] Oh, yeah. What’s your name?

Oh ... we never got to that, did we? I'm Harry.

[He laughs quietly, sounding sheepish.] Sorry, it must've slipped my mind before. I'm Akihiko. Nice to meet ya.
