[ There are very few things that Rose thinks will ever surprise her anymore. She feels so utterly world weary, tired of the struggle to put things back on track. But leave it to the multiverses to throw her for a loop again.

Asgard. This was Asgard. The bracelet was on her wrist, pink hued stone embedded just as it had been last time. How long had it been? Gods, she felt as if she'd just nipped off for a snooze, and woken up out of a deadsleep. No new memories of back home, as far as she could glean. Nothing. So why had she left? Had she left? --Yes, evidently. A quick glance at the most recent posts upon the Network showed that no, it was not the same day she had last recalled. Time had definitely passed. And if that were the case- she could think of a few people who might just have been a bit up in arms about it.

She prayed to no one in particular, that everyone was still here. ]

So I think I knocked out for a while... And I'm guessin' it was more than a few hours.

[Now last time he saw Rose was not that long ago. But it was definitive. It was such that he knew he wasn't likely to see her ever again.. And as much as they'd grown together? It was very painful.]

[But here he is. In Asgard. Been here only but a week and getting used to the whole idea, when who does he see? pop up on video?]

He gives her a little smile. Nine will be so pleased. Of course, he's happy to see her as well, but it's not his place. Okay, so this is a little bittersweet, but the hell if he'll say anything of the sort. Not anymore.]

[ Oh thank god. Not for the less hyperactive (She likes Her Doctors, okay), but because yes, the Eight version of him is still here, too. It wouldn't have done to not be able to say goodbye or anything. So she grins for him all the same, wide and full of teeth because she can't help it. ]

[There's a smile on Jamie's face though, and not entirely because he knows the Doctors will be happy to have her back. He's happy to see her back as well.]

[ Oh, she beams. Yes, she remembers Jamie. That's quite a relief. ]

S'actually pretty nice to be back. And um. No. Anyone I've talked to seems like they've got a rod up their arse about it.

[Severus is still trying to figure out this contraption on his wrist. He's in his room in Hel House, poking at it, scowling at it, studying it with a wary frown, when a video suddenly pops up. A blonde woman. He peers at the image of the woman blankly, her voice familiarly British (Merlin, how he's missing home) but everything else about her completely unfamiliar.

She looks human. Sounds human. Severus has come to learn pretty quickly that all is not what it seems in this place, however. Not that he's any stranger to nonhuman creatures - the wizarding world is full of nonhuman and humanoid creatures, after all - but unlike the wizarding world, Asgard is alien beyond all belief to him. He doesn't trust anything his eyes are seeing. He doesn't know what to make of this strange land. He doesn't know how to deal with the fact that he is more or less a Muggle in this anomalous world; a fact that he is not dealing well with at all.]

Who and what are you?

[ W o w, rude Snape. Rose is just a human lady, thanks. Does she look weird? Does she give off an alien vibe? --Actually, she wouldn't have been surprised if she did. Jackie still gave her heck about it from time to time.

However, she's not about to turn down someone's question. Especially when, from the unrecognisable face, he must be new. She can forgive him the caution for that, she'd been much the same way upon her own original arrival. ]

[ Her tone is even, and not particularly condescending or pitying. He wants information, so she'll give it. Besides. Grumpy old men were never fun to deal with. ]

[Someone else has felt the same recently. In fact, he just happens to be stumbling across the street right at this moment.]

...great weather we're having, isn't it? Not sunshine and roses...

[He's talking to a passerby, something sounding slightly vacant about his voice. Then he searches the other passersby, locking on to something familiar.]

...roses. Rose?

[ Her back may be towards him when he first starts his mutterings-to-a-passerby, but she knows that Northern clip of an accent anywhere. And yes, he'll definitely catch the blonde hair and blue jacket- it's her biggest tell, really. Well, maybe just the hair.

So she turns about in the semi-crowd, already searching for it above the din. It might help, if she weren't so short, but when he's standing still... There he is. All ears and leather jacket, looking like he might have just found the sunlight after days in the dark. Sometimes, although she absolutely loved him, he could be so dramatic.

She hurries over to him either way, grin pulling at her lips so hard it makes her cheeks ache. It was one thing to miss the Doctor she'd been searching for ... but it was another to miss the one she could never see again lest it be here. Bloody Asgard. ]

[ Hee. Grumpy as the Old Girl can make Rose sometimes, especially here, it is still beyond exciting to see that she's still here. Lord knows the Doctors would have run around with their heads cut off, would still be, if it weren't for her. ]
