Do tell me, are you actually helping this world and its war? I am sure all of you are dying [she loves to use this word when addressing to humans] to go back to your little homes, however, it’s no where in the contract saying you’ll be returned once the war is over and won, and the greyness is gone. It’s a promise, yes, but promises can be broken so easily, can they not? And gods are so fickle, aren't they?

Are we supposed to believe them? [Demona doesn’t laugh, however she hums]

So, do tell me more about the war, the greyness and the powers offered, I suppose. The introductory guide is... unsatisfactory to say the least. [ there is so much ice in her voice, she could freeze hell ]

If you are that capable and certain, why are you still here? Why are they still alive?

'Cause so far they'vve actually been almost helpful. I'm not fuckin' goin' back to my owwn univverse, that's for sure.

We aren't only helping their world. Yes, I know not everyone believes that, but people do come and go and it adds up, so there's no reason to believe that once we've saved Asgard and our worlds, that we wouldn't go back home. But if you want to speak to them, the gods, I mean, you can. Just pick one and send them a message.

The others can probably answer the rest more thoroughly than I can.

Oh, I do plan on that. But I would rather speak to those in the same situation as I, first. Let's say I like to know both sides of the coin.

I hardly think you're alone in that. But there are many who assume the worst right away, and ... er, I don't think that's helpful.

We were taken without warning, stripped out of our powers and other characteristics and forced to stay in order to help a war. Isn't it understandable they think the worse?

It is understandable to an extent, but our worlds are in danger, too. And it's not difficult to see that they are also having a hard time here.

The worlds are in danger, so these Gods say. Gods are known for conveniently saying and doing whatever they wish to.

[ she sees it as their own fault, yes. If they did it on purpose or not, she can only guess it was either an excuse to bring people here, either a consequence of something like "the greater good".

No, but I've always assumed it had something to do with the Frost Giants and their queen.

It's very easy to blame those the gods call enemies, isn't it?

Well, considering that I've fought them, it's very easy to blame them.

I'm sure they blame the gods in return. And those helping them.

Well, given that they're the ones trying to end the world, I'm not certain their blame is really founded.

Ah, well, the way I figure it, I haven't got much to lose by lending 'em a hand either way, milady. Winning the war's the better chance to see everyone head back. Whatever the odds are that they'll just keep us around instead.

A matter of perspective, frankly. If I'm here, I may as well contribute. If it comes to being cannon fodder, I'll lodge my complaints. Only one man allowed to tell me to fill that role, after all.

Contribute in helping them who kidnapped you. Well, you seem rather open minded, don't you?

I try to be, when I'm kidnapped. The road of friendly relations reaches a surprising number of places, with the right traveler.

Do you think they will care if you are friendly with them or not?

They should. If they don't, they're not the sort I usually bother with helping.

Some of us can't go home. I'd rather spend my time here wisely and affect changes for the benefit of those who can.

Though, they are quite smart about that. After all, you now have a big reason for wanting to help and stay; I'm quite sure those in the same situation feel the same.

The powers offered are bland and unsatisfying, and I only ever help those who honor me first.

I do agree these powers are nothing but simple magic tricks when compared to the power I had before and that they took. [ Demona almost growls, but she is able to hold back ] And they took far too much.

That was exactly my problem when I arrived. These paltry powers barely get better, even if you practice them.

Do you think they will give you any, considering everyone here seems to be at the same level?

Well, perhaps there is more in this world to use, but I doubt it'll ever be any better than what I had.

I wouldn't see why not. I may not have my powers here, but I am hardly any different a person than I was.

Indeed, it is highly unlikely that what you have now will be better than whatever you had back home.
