[There's a face that might be familiar to some people appearing onscreen. It looks a little less perky than it usually does and seems to be needing a moment before actually speaking.]

Hey. I don't know what happened, but I could swear I'd gone home for a while. But I'm back here again and... yeah.

I guess a few people missed me, judging by the messages waiting for me. I'll get to those in a bit, but I thought I'd let everyone know I'm back. Scott... I guess I'll see you when you've got some time. I hope things have been quiet and I have no idea how long I've been gone, so any heads up on that would be appreciated.

It's a lot of stuff, Derek. A lot of bad and maybe a little bit of not so bad. And you're not the only one that got screwed, okay? We all wound up getting some damage.

[He almost wants to lift a hand and rub at his chest, at the weird hollowness he feels there.]

[ yeah, like erica and boyd he wants to say, but alright, fair enough. he'll see it for himself some day. ]

How much more is there? [ of "a lot of stuff". ]

A lot.

[He looks down at his hands, fidgeting with them. He's not going to be the one to tell Derek about losing his Alpha status. He also really didn't want to tell him about Blake, especially not after everything had come to light about her. And Paige. And that connection. Nope. He was so not okay with that.]

Can you trust me to tell you if it's relevant to you? If you need to know?

but only because derek doesn't trust anyone, not here. not isaac or erica, not scott, and not stiles. no one.

Filling in each painful little dot and comma isn't going to help you while you're here, Derek. Just like knowing she was going to die didn't help Erica. She still died when I went home.

You mentioned the Alphas, but... did she have anything to do with Boyd? [ choochoo, his guilt train is here and waiting for more passengers. ]

[teenyoda]

No, that was the Alphas. Just Kali and the twins, though Deucalion's the little puppet master behind the curtain.

[predators]

[ derek's silent for a moment, just thinking about it all. it's hard to piece together everything, and he almost wishes he could go home and see it all for himself. ]

He won't walk away. Not if I have anything to do about it. [ he will remember what he's learned here even if it kills him, he won't let deucalion just get away with it all. ]

[teenyoda]

He does. You and Scott, you let him go. I don't know if it was some weird wolf mercy thing or whatever, but he's not blind anymore and you guys let him go.

[He hadn't gotten that. He still didn't.]
