[ This is Scott McCall. Except his name is coming up as Scott Stilinski on the network. Stilinski is his best friend's surname. All shall be explained. ]

So I was going to talk about this sooner but there was that ghost problem and it didn't seem like an appropriate time to talk about my... marriage. [ Yes, that is a wedding ring on his finger. Which won't come off. ]

I just wanted to warn everyone not to get drunk here. Because if you get drunk, one of the gods might find it funny to curse you and your best friend to be married while you're drunkenly declaring your love for each other. Even if you have a girlfriend. [ The situation he's describing? Is basically what happened to him. ]

Sorry to my friends who weren't invited to our wedding. It was so out of the blue even we didn't see it coming. [ Scott is facepalming so hard right now. ]

Does anybody want to date my husband, by the way? [ Because Stiles will not shut up about being single, even is he's a married man now. ] Anyone who doesn't have a problem with dating someone who has a husband.

Will you meet me by the lake at the park? I need to give you something.

[ Allison sends him a quick text of confirmation and heads down to the lake. Since she already knew about this, Allison's not exactly surprised to hear it, though she's a little surprised Scott actually told the network at large. But it's not like it changes anything between them, it's just... really weird.

If Scott was going to marry anyone here, Allison thought it would be her, curse or not.

When she catches sight of him at the park, she smiles and picks up the pace a little. ] I really hope you're not giving me a key to your new place with Stiles. [ It's meant to be a joke - she really is trying her - but it's a little subpar. Still, she moves to kiss him when she's close enough. ]

[ Scott regretted telling the network as soon as Isaac responded by teasing and talking about polygamy. Scott had just wanted to be helpful and warn others.

When he sees Allison, Scott gets up from the blanket on the grass he's sitting on to greet her, cringing a little at what she says. As funny as it is being married to Stiles, it's also awkwardly embarrassing and Scott would rather be married to the girl kissing him right now. ] No, definitely not... Thanks for coming. Wanna sit? I brought a blanket so you wouldn't get grass stains. [ Is he thoughtful or what? ]

[ As usual, Scott's heart was in the right place, he just didn't really think it through.

He really is the most thoughtful guy ever, which makes Allison's smile widen a little as she nods. ] Yeah. [ Giving his arm a brief squeeze (and stealing another kiss), she moves to sit down on the blanket, tucking one leg beneath her. ] Has everyone's response been as ridiculous as Isaac's? [ Okay, so she's spied on a couple responses, but can he really blame her? ]

[ Such is the life of Scott McCall.

It's a pretty big blanket but Scott insists on sitting as close to her as possible. ] Jackson asked if you were maid of honor.

[ It's obvious from the look on Scott's face that he wanted to punch Jackson for that comment. ]

[ Allison doesn't mind him being close at all. In fact, once he's seated beside her, she turns a little more towards him. ]

He probably thought he was being funny. [ Or just being a jerk. The look on Scott's face, though, has her slipping her hand on top of Scott's. ] Honestly? I'd rather have questions like that than what Isaac said. [ Maid of honor versus her being into polygamy? Yeah, she'd much rather have Jackson's "humor." ]

[ Scott just cringes when Allison brings up what Isaac said. ] I think he's been hanging around Stiles too much... [ Hence the perverted inappropriateness. ]

Anyway... [ Scott turns his hand over so their fingers entwine. ] Before I give you something, I kinda need to explain some stuff otherwise you won't get the meaning behind it. [ What makes it so special. ] Remember that time in class when Coach was really yelling at me because I forgot to do... something I can't even remember right now? [ He laughs. ] I was getting really stressed out and I felt like I was gonna actually turn in class in front of everyone... and then you put your hand in mine and I was okay. I didn't feel like I was going to wolf out anymore... You calmed me down. You kept me human.

[ She laughs a little at that comment because it's definitely possible, though she didn't think those two liked one another. It's not her problem, though, not like making sure Jackson isn't a complete ass to Scott.

Her thumb starts rubbing over his without her even really thinking about it and she nods, smiling a bit when he laughs. ] Yeah, I remember that, [ she adds even as he continues, squeezing his hand when he mentions the way she'd grabbed it in class. ] I really did that? Just by holding your hand? [ She remembers kissing him while he was partially wolfed out once and how that brought him back, but she hadn't realized that taking his hand in her own, especially that early in their relationship, would've helped that much. ] How? I mean, I hoped it would make you feel better, but-- [ Well, she hadn't expected that. Of course, she also hadn't known what Scott was at the time, so. ]

In the beginning, Derek tried teaching me how to control myself but it was actually Stiles who helped me. [ Funny how a human had taught him more about being a werewolf than an actual werewolf had. He really was lucky to have Stiles. ] Derek was telling me I needed to be angry to stay human but... I dunno, that really wasn't working for me. Getting angry makes me wanna turn more... but when I hear your voice or your heartbeat, I have control. Maybe it's the power of love or something. [ Scott laughs. ]

Stiles called you my anchor. [ And with that in mind, Scott gets out something from his pocket and slides it up her ring finger. ] It's not a wedding ring... [ They're far too young for that. ] I couldn't marry you right now even if I wanted to because of this dumb curse. I just wanted to give you something that shows you how much you mean to me... Allison, I want you in my future for a long time.

[ It's something they've talked about before, being with each other not just until college. Scott's kind of hoping she'll wear it almost as a try out for an actual wedding ring one day. He'd like her to get used to the idea of forever with him because he thinks about forever with her and it sounds perfect. ]

[ Allison wasn't too sure what she was expecting when Scott asked her to meet him, but she definitely knows that it wasn't this. A ring. A ring. Even though it's not a wedding ring, it's still pretty big for them and, as she watches him slide it up her finger, Allison feels like her heart's going to break through her chest. Even without his werewolf hearing, she's fairly certain Scott can hear it, too. ]

Scott... [ But she's at a loss for words, so that's all she manages to get out as she stretches her hand out to get a better look at the ring. She can feel her throat tightening and tears burning her eyes. It doesn't feel like too much, though. In fact, it feels just right, Allison just can't get the words out just yet.

After staring at the ring for a few more moments, she lifts her watery gaze to meet his. A smile stretches wide across her face, dimpling her cheeks, and she laughs as she wraps her arms around his neck to pull him into a tight hug. ] It's beautiful, Scott. [ Her fingers curl around his shirt. ] Thank you. I love it.

[ Scott looks worried at first when he sees tears in her eyes because what if she's crying because she thinks the ring looks ugly?!

He just watches her face until she finally smiles, making Scott smile in relief as he slips his arms around her middle. He loves it when she smiles so much her dimples appear. ] I'm really, really glad you like it. I know how you like wearing rings. [ She always seemed to be wearing one whenever he took her hand. ] I love you...

[ She can practically feel the relief washing off him and if this moment wasn't so special, she'd probably end up chuckling a little about it. Instead, she turns her head to press a kiss to his neck, arms still holding him close. ] I love you, too. I'm never going to take it off.
