Looks like the one person I had from home went back. I can't seem to reach her on her bracelet, at least. Or find her in her housing. I haven't been here that long myself but from what I gather, that's what I assume has happened.

I need a drink. All this fighting and everything has been frakking crazy. Anyone wants me, I'll be at the pub.

Yeah. It's better she's with them and not worrying now at least. I take it you met up with her while she was here though?

Yeah. I ran into her when she first arrived. She seemed really nice.

She's all right. Has helped us a lot since she got Helo and I off of Caprica.

That's the place you escaped from when the Cylons came after you, right?

[ Allison's actually thinking New Caprica because that's the only Caprica Kara mentioned when they first talked. ]

Caprica is one of the twelve colonies the Cylons nuked initially. Baltar wanted us to settle when we found a habitable planet, New Caprica.

[And New Caprica. Well. That was a whole new level of messed up, to be honest. Kara's still conflicted and bitter as hell about what went on there. Being kidnapped by Leoben and all.]

Which didn't work out, right? Because you mentioned something about getting off New Caprica?

[ She hopes she's remembering that correctly. ]

It didn't exactly go as planned, no. We were lucky that the Galactica and Pegasus came back for us and helped us escape.

And now you're stuck here. But like Sharon said, at least there's real food. Apparently you guys were eating seaweed?

Yeah, the food, accommodation and booze is definitely better here. Seaweed is pretty much one way to describe it I guess. It was muck, but it kept us from being too hungry, and we were limited with our resources for obvious reasons.

That's really awful. I would never take anything for granted again if I lived in a situation like that.

I doubt anyone would. Just be glad you weren't back with us on Galactica. I mean, we had some ships dedicated to certain resources, like fuel for example, but of course over time we lost some of them with jumps or through the fighting.

I hope you guys find Earth soon when you go back. You really deserve it.

You and me both. And after everything. Yeah, we damn frakking well deserve it.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you guys.
