He first took the time to sift through the messages left on his bracelet, baffled by the sheer amount of information (and slightly amused/unsettled. Davesprite what is wrong with you.) Then he realized there were several responses to his original message before the disaster struck.

…he was fucked, wasn't he? Alas, he knew he couldn't keep hiding so the best method was to be as nonchalant as possible. That meant showing his face whether he wanted to or not.

When the feed flickers on anyone watching will see a boy who looks sort of like he was hit by the Knight Bus. His hair's messy, there are bags under his eyes and there's the slightest hint of a five o'clock shadow on his chin.]

Not that bad. We're all still here. And yeah, I understand the appeal. It's probably one of the more malleable base foundations we've got here, at least if you're wanting to produce something violent. It takes to whatever you add very well. Of course, it also makes some things unstable and really powerful...

Which was what I was going for, mind. Really powerful and only slightly unstable. I think we can benefit from having something similar to the muggle hand grenade, but not if it explodes before contact's made.

It's not a bad concept. Honestly, I think we can get gunpowder as is, but at the same time you might be able to do something more fire-based with this. Hard to say how effective this magic is. Every time I try something powerful without going to hell and back for rare reagents, it's a fight.

Ah, but the difference between gunpowder and what I was working on is that mine burns. I've got the marks to prove it.

Yeah, that's definitely a difference between yours and gunpowder. It's like napalm, but explosive, and I honestly don't know if we can get napalm easily.

Actually... they have styrofoam around here?

Probably. I could ask Jade if Highwind carries it...what the hell is napalm?

Plastics and Styrofoams mixed with gasoline and another chemical I think I might be able to get my hands on. It gels up the gasoline into a sticky, greasy and corrosive thing that burns hotter for longer. It's old, world war two tech, but it was nasty as hell when they came up with it.

Used to own another book along with my mom's alchemical stuff when I ran. "The Anarchist's Cookbook." I don't remember most of the recipes, but that one was easy.

Ah. You might have to be the one to ask her then...I doubt she'll let me play with explosives for a few weeks.

I'll look into it. I think I can pull it off one way or another, but yeah. Shes probably not going to let you for a little bit at least.
