No. No. NO!
[The video is an absolute blur, but there is definitely destruction happening. The tinkle of broken glass, loud thumps and cracks that sound a lot like furniture being hit with blunt objects - anything you'd associate with a house being utterly totalled from the inside can be heard through the maelstrom.
Then it stills, and one red-faced, absolutely apoplectic Pyro is visible in the middle of his path of destruction.]
You assholes. You stupid fucking assholes. If you were so almighty, we wouldn't be any threat to you, would we? So why the hell take them away? Curse me. Make me think I'm Stryker, I don't care. Just bring them back, and do it now.
[It doesn't matter how many times he's told others that people come back. That's it's random. That they're better off. This is his fucking leader and second-in-command, two of the mutants he admires above all others, and they're both gone. If someone doesn't talk him down soon, he'll be paying off the damages on a burnt-down paid residence for the rest of his time in Asgard.]
((ooc: backtags are coming, but this huge of a drop had to be referenced. also, if any gods want to garnish his wages for the damage or anything, consequences are obviously expected for this.))

[And then, his tone takes on an authoritative edge.] Calm yourself. You are wasting your energy. The gods will not obey your command without something to gain in return.
[Private – Audio]
[As if this isn't a targeted attack. It's so blatant that Pyro almost wants to laugh.]
Yeah.
[Private – Audio]
Are your other allies still present?
[Private – Audio]
[Although this is close. So close. And everyone's right - he shouldn't have shown it.
As for the question:]
That's complicated. There's other mutants here, one's a friend of mine, but they're on the other side. Not the human side, there's two different branches of mutants fighting one another too. And she can get mean if you provoke her right, but he wouldn't swat a fucking fly.
[Private – Audio]
[That does sound complicated.]
Civil war? Whichever objective takes priority should be dealt with first. Having divided forces will result in a more difficult struggle.
Do they disagree with your perspective in this world as well?
[Private – Audio]
[There's just a touch of real emotion in his voice at that, beyond anger or bitterness. But it fades quickly.]
The lines back home are deep. I can't believe he'd even cross them to be friends with me. But that's pretty much exactly what's happened, we spend more time fighting one another than we do making sure humans won't screw with us anymore. Magneto and Mystique even took the X-Men's side right before I got here to make sure we weren't all killed off, and still nobody trusts them.
[Private – Audio]
We are in the middle of a war. Everyone was brought here against their will to fight. It may take time for him to understand this concept more thoroughly.
Hmm. Then this conflict between the mutants will need to take precedence. Though, I would presume humans are physically inferior. Therefore, they should pose less of a threat.
[Private – Audio]
And it still does matter here, even if it's a different world. They're on the wrong side for the wrong reasons, and they're still doing everything because of those reasons. You can say they might change, but I doubt it.
[Private – Audio]
[Unseen, he shakes his head. His voice sounds more subdued.] That is unfortunate… Even if they were willing to call a truce, would you suspect betrayal? [Because he still has that issue with Sasuke himself. Gaara isn’t sure he can trust him.]
[Private – Audio]
[His answer to that is immediate.] No. Not from Bobby. He doesn't have it in him. But his truce comes with an ultimatum that I don't do anything here, so we won't get there all the way.
[Private – Audio]
Loyalty is difficult to obtain and keep, in general. Despite not being able to agree on every subject, it may still be beneficial to maintain this bond.
Re: [Private – Audio]
Yeah, I'm gonna stick with it as long as I - we can. We'll just have to see what happens.
[Muttered:] Not like I've got any big plans now anyway.
[Private – Audio]
A wise decision. Change is inevitable – it’s simply a matter of time.
If you are in need of something, contact me. [Assuming, of course, it’s something that he can provide.]
[Private – Audio]
[He sounds amused, but a touch bitterly.]
Yeah, will do. Same here.
