[Trees and a person can be seen in a blur, moving back and forth. Harry is determined not to believe that his magic is entirely gone. Maybe changing worlds did something to it and he just needs to wake it up. So what better way to bring it back than to cast spells until one of them actually works? He's waving his wand at a frantic pace, shouting as many spells as he can think of in rapid succession.]

-io! Reducto! Confringo! Incendio! Lumos! [The view pauses as Harry looks for something, then moves again just once more.] Accio stick!

[Every single time, nothing happens. His wand feels as cold and dead as a normal stick. The only feeling in his hand is the chill of winter. A breeze blows by and nudges the stick a little, causing Harry to sigh in defeat. he has no magic.]

It's not coming back at all. [He glances at his wand hand, finally noticing that his bracelet has come on. Wonderful. He must look like a nutter.]

Bloody hell. How long has this stupid thing been on? [He winces.] Er... sorry if you're seeing this. Just ignore all that, okay?

[Harry sounds incredibly disappointed and embarrassed about having to fess up to his failure.]

My magic. I was a wizard before I got here.

[ a wizard? well, he's had his own experience with magical powers, though they didn't involve waving a wand around and shouting nonsensical phrases.

they did involve... summoning strange mythical figures out of their heads by crushing cards though. so okay he's not really one to judge. ]

Sorry, it seems like they take away any powers you might have had when you get here.

[Even when he didn't realize that he had it, magic had always been a part of him. He didn't know what other kinds of powers people had possessed, but surely they must've had them since they'd noticed those powers were gone.]

I'd heard, but I didn't think it was that permanent.

Well... we haven't been here long. Maybe we will get them back.

[ before getting his own power, his life had been rather normal. in a way he's put that part of his life behind him now, but being completely without it does feel a bit strange. ]

For now we have to work with what we have though.

I hope so. Did you lose something?

[He's a little shocked at how badly he's taken it. He'd never thought he'd be without it.]

I wonder why they would've taken them.

Yeah. Not magic but... something similar.

[ he shrugs at that, having no idea. ]

I'm not sure why they've done any of the things they have.

That's awful.

[Harry rubs the back of his neck.]

Have you run into any of them?

The gods? [ a slow nod. ] I've talked to the one in charge of the house I'm in. Freyr.

[A headtilt]

Acciwhat?

Woah! That's a lot of funny words... What are you sayin'?

[ Those words.. Latin? Not that she's able to understand them, they just vaguely sound like that. And with the way he's waving that wand around.. Ange raises an eyebrow. ]

Are you trying to cast magic?

What's Freyr like? I'm in Baldr's house, but I haven't had the chance to talk to him.

[He looks a little embarrassed.]

Accio. It's a summoning spell.

They're supposed to be magic spells.

[Harry is a little relieved that someone seems to be familiar with it.]

Yes! Although it isn't really working out like I'd planned it.

It seems they took away all the powers that originally belong to people who were pulled into this place. [ including her own, but she isn't sure how comfortable she is with discussing that over a public feed. especially not with Amakusa around. ]

So I bet yours just doesn't work anymore either.

Oh, you're a mage? [Wait a sec] Why would you want to summon a stick?

He's... nice. Kind of strange, but nice.

Are you okay? Did you hit your head? [ you're kind of waving a stick around and shouting crazy things, brother. ]

I've never heard spells like that, sound pretty neat. But I don't think they're gonna work without yer horn.

[Sonic stares for a few seconds, and then he covers his mouth and snickers. Oh man, that's really something!]

What're ya doin'? Trying some magic tricks?

Strange how?

Wizard, actually. [He's not familiar with the term.] Just to see if I could get it to come to me. I'm usually pretty good at that spell.

They're pretty wonderful most of the time. [Though he could do without other kinds of magic.] Why would I need a horn for anything?
