Jack! Jack Jack Jack! Doctor, Miss Tardis! And just... just anyone! [Alice is practically spinning never mind jumping and bouncing. She has drawings all over her walls of the three guardians she met.]

I met them! I met Father Christmas and the Easter Bunny and even the Tooth Fairy! I met them all and they're incredible and amazing and so much better than the stories ever said! Did anyone else get to meet them while they were here!

[She suddenly gasps although not in surprise but in excitement.]

AND HE KNEW! Jack, Doctor, Miss Tardis! Father Christmas knew! [Knew what is left unanswered but she's too excited to explain.]

THEY WERE HERE! I hope everyone got to meet them!

Well, her name is Alice, she has the same name as me!

I haven't been much for socialising lately---that ought to change.

Yes, it ought to, I imagine. Especially since this place depends on us being social and the sort.

'Domestics' are sort of mundane everyday things in life. Dealing with paying bills. Squabbles at home. Overbearing mothers. Boyfriends and girlfriends breaking up. Sitting together.

The messy business of...making friends, I suppose.

Well, why is that a bad thing? Not every day is going to be an adventure of the greatest sort. It's those sorts of things that actually make a relationship with someone. I'm not going to learn very much about your likes and dislikes by running for my life from an ice giant.

I tend to forge my friends in the fire, if you can pardon the expression.

That would make me number nine. And Miss Tardis is our partner.

I know! Oh well, not the nine part, but the Miss Tardis part. Miss Tardis has told me all about the relationship between you and her.

Mmhmm! How you and she travel the universe and time together and do all sorts of things to save people! How you have a special relationship! That she takes care of you and that you love each other oh but you aren't courting.

[There's surprise on his face. If he gets the chance, he's gonna have a talk with Miss Tardis about this.]

It can be a bit difficult to court a ship. I already spent most of my time in her.
