[The announcement over the networks will leave him stunned. He did not expect this. He did not expect this act of both kindness and cruelty. Why? Why did Odin have to announce this? Why did the deities have to fix whatever it was that brought his master here? He...he was uncertain on the best way to respond as he felt his entire world shake and crumble around him. The urge to yell and cry was very, very tempting]

[However, even if he wished to cry, yell, and feel hatred towards the gods for toying with them like this, there will only be silence. At the moment, he did not have the heart to react the way he wished to because even if he was in pain -- he might not be the only one. Instead, he will begin to find the right words to use. As he tried to find the right emotions to feel. He...he was uncertain over his own feelings over the matter. Then again, he was allowing himself to shed silent tears. This...this might be the only time that Soushi will publicly admit the following:]

Thank you. [Soft and genuine words will be spoken instead of using his more formal tone of voice.] Thank you very much for informing us when it is the right moment to bid farewell to our loved ones. You are very kind, Odin-kami-sama. [Even though he found it cruel, so cruel to have brought the wrong version of his master to Asgard. Yet...he was grateful for it. He was happy for it. Now the problem will be over the best way to tell her without crying because he is uncertain if he will be able to let her go. He was even more uncertain if he would...find the best way to move on from this experience without feeling entirely alone once she was gone.]

[The nature of this message is... familiar.

Terse. Clipped. Official. He would make a good Supervisor, she thinks, which is a funny enough thought as it is; she can almost imagine him handing her a report and dismissing her for the subsequent mission to follow. A part of her wants to argue, to fight, to explain that this isn't just not fair, to reunite people with loved ones -- with friends who have been gone for so long -- only to rip them away at the first possible convenience -- it's not right.

A larger part of her knows it's futile. It's as futile to fight it, as it is futile to try and decline a mission, and she doesn't want to spend the hour she's been given arguing for it.

So, she sighs, bows her head slightly.]

[It makes her feel a little sick to her stomach; like she's giving up too easily.]

So he's surprised to see Lenalee, part of him wondering why no one told him that she was here. And he only gets an hour to see her? Less than that now, isn't it?

He's starting to see why you think them all so important. His world has gotten so narrow since coming here. Lavi doesn't feel like himself but seeing Lenalee helps, just a little bit.

[This was it. The last hour. The last hour she would be able to see any of them. It was bittersweet. In respect for Roxy...she wishes this hadn't have happened. She wishes that she didn't have to come. It was going to make things so much harder in the long run for her. But she had left a few wise words in that book she signed, so she guesses it was okay.

She takes to roaming around the district she was dropped in one more time. She knew this was goodbye.

But she never knew a goodbye could be....so hard.]

[Not all of the people who wanted to say goodbye were from her world, it would seem. Sam was looking for one or both of them if she could find them. This one, it seemed, was the one she found easiest. The half-demon paused, nodding to her.]

It's possible. Their energies have been here once, it makes them more likely to come again. But there's no knowing for sure.

[So an hour before he's suddenly back home, sitting on Allen's suitcase with Timcampy and wondering how he made the golem cry. Not that isn't a good thing or anything--everything should be as it's meant to.

Kanda hadn't really been much in touch with the other Exorcists during his stay, either. He left Allen to his own devices after the first day, occasional checked in on Lavi... (And was likely punched by Lenalee at least once.) He avoided the Noah as much as possible, naturally.

His routine had pretty much been the same the entire time he's been there, though often found himself at the place he arrived: the park. Not like there was much of anything else for him to do here, anyway.]

[Lavi barely got to see you, and not by his own choice. He'd rather Kanda stick around longer. At least then...Allen's distance wouldn't hurt so badly. Link he expects it from but... Well, yeah.]

[Every part of him wanted to say to send his friend's back home. Not because he didn't want them to be here. Gods no. When he arrived in Asgard he'd only just had his memories returned and was a few seconds from being reunited with his girlfriend after eight months. It was only until just before the visitors all appeared that he experienced their reunion and the seven days that followed. Seven days that were filled with end of the world business and a very hard fall.

But he didn't want her or Leo or any of them stuck in another war. Not when they could be hurt or even that if time did move on, for whatever reason, then their fight with their own Giants would end badly. Besides, he couldn't protect them here and that was a gnawing fact that made him more annoyed with these Gods then his own. He was good with a sword, but a huge chunk of him was missing.

He at least had the common sense to look before responding.]

So, that's it. [To the point.] Should we start worrying? If the Gods didn't do this I'd hate to see who else is out there. Titans, maybe?

[Because he's enough experience to know that if the Gods say they aren't behind it that it's something worse.] --I'm guessing there's no chance in letting all of them leave.

The only other immortals you need to worry about are the Giants.

Some of them have been bonded to the others. They'll stay. Everyone else will be leaving.

I don't suppose that hour includes those of us who might rather be sent back home. Like the children you pulled here, besides the ones that showed up after the earthquake, I mean.

[She doubts it. That would be too convenient, of course. She's not sure what to make of that, the idea of once again being the only one from home, as far as she is aware. She figures due to the timing that Sharon might end up returning as well. Which is probably for the best, her being back with Helo and Hera.]

[The voice is more a rumble or a bark than human tongue, but Bec makes himself known. His brows dip, but the devil-beast-dog doesn't seem too upset. He knows what must happen must happen. It's weird to not Know it offhand like he usually does, but things that will come to pass will come no matter what you do.

413 million years may not make a person wise, but it makes them respectful of things beyond their control.

His charge's name is at once a bit of an apology (for not being here and for leaving now) as well as a goodbye (for now, but he has the idea it might be more final for some).

He's at Jade's house, with his dog-minded double that keeps Asgardian Jade company, if anyone wants to drop by.]

[ It's ten minutes after Odin's post that she's home and out of breath. No, no, no, she knew it had been a mistake, but she had been expecting it to last longer.

So she will just drop her bag by the door, kick her shoes off, and seek him out in whichever room he's in. ]

I was beginning to think I was going to be stuck here.

[His words are meant as a complaint but there's something else mixed in there. He's just started getting along with himself...]

[The words leave him somewhat numb, not sad, not mad. He'd hated being here, when he first got here he was wishing that he would get sent back immediately. But the information that he finally gets to leave hits him hard. Things had suddenly begin to go better. It causes his hands to ball up into fists and relax and repeat.

A sigh dances past his still gnaw damaged lips. He doesn't want to go back, not to the alphas, not to all the death, and the misery. Baby blues stare at his hand once again, the same way he had when he first got here. He'd have so much power back there, but all the death and killing... Did it make it all worth it?

He ponders slipping away until it's all over so he doesn't risk the chance of anyone coming to him for a goodbye. Even getting to his feet, only to stop there and think about it.]

[he's not her isaac, but he's undoubtedly seen her with the other isaac, the way he treats her like someone he trusts, the way she seems to know him and his limits. she's mostly left him be, though, this other issac that isn't quite the one she knows, because, well, it's creepy to be known by a stranger. and she has not, as she told the other isaac, earned his friendship. but now he's leaving, and she can imagine that he's probably not as happy about it as he'd like people to think.]
