[ The video turns on and Annabeth gives a small wave at the camera; she looks pretty excited for whatever reason. ]

Hi. My name's Annabeth Chase -- and I know I'm not the first, but I'm another person that's been brought here permanently after I arrived for the celebration.

But I was reading the welcome...uh, drawing? And I wasn't really satisfied by the answers. Can anyone tell me a little bit more about this place and the gods? Where I come from, we don't really have these same gods. [ You know, being a daughter of a Greek goddess and how the Greek pantheon is a thing. ] Any help you'd like to give would be really appreciated. Or maybe just tell me where I can go to find out some more -- I looked in the library, but it's so huge. I might have missed something.

Also if I'm going to be living here, I should probably help out. What's there to do around here? Jobs and stuff? I'd offer up my services as an architect, but you usually need some capital before you can build anything...

[ She shakes her head. ]

I'm still intelligent. But there's a difference now. It feels less...divinely inspired, and more like I'm just smart.

[ It's true: she no longer feels as if it came from some sort of creative wellspring, some sort of unlimited ability to achieve and aspire. She feels...really normal. ]

You never needed your mom to be smart or wise. Didn't you say she liked you guys learning things on her own? So just consider it a test. You'll pass it.

[ A test. Okay. She tries not to worry about it and chalks it all up to a test. She nods. ]

I know. I've got to, or else we can't go home.

I was thinking omething other than that.

[ Clearly they were on two different trains of thought. ]

[ It's true, if she was really bothered about it forever, she wouldn't ever feel at home. Still, she wants to reassure him. So she stops, reaching to pull him into a hug. ]

As long as you're here, I'm happy. We'll figure something out.

[He just wanted her to find some peace. He hadn't yet, but then again in weird way wisdom was still a part of Annabeth, his power was completely gone. He wanted her to be at home, even a little bit, so when she pulls him into a hug he equally engulfs her.]
