Okay, so. That went. Well, I guess. And it's good to know that death doesn't seem to be a problem if we die fighting this frakking war. I don't think it's quite the same as the cylons, but death not being permanent is still....frakking creepy if you ask me. But welcome back to those we lost? Sounds like everyone is back now.

Anyway, I figured out which power I have. Flight. Pretty fitting I guess, since I was a pilot back home. It will take a bit more practice to really get the hang of it, without being in a viper, but it's good to know what power I have now.

Arya, you okay, kid? I got a small handgun for you. We can set up targets for you to practice, if you really do want to learn to use it. It's nothing too big or fancy, but I'm not sure you would want anything much bigger than this, especially with recoil. And if anyone is wanting to complain to me about this, I don't give a frak. She asked me to teach her. I didn't force her or tell her she should learn. And she already knows how to use other weapons.

I was going to consider asking what might happen once this is all over, for those who were dead back home, but I see someone else already beat me to that, so I won't go into that.

What, you think I should send out invites? Somehow I don't think everyone here would appreciate the show, or understand. They don't know everything that frakker did to me.

Frak that, a world without booze. I don't think I'd last much longer than a week. [Because if there is one thing everyone knows about Starbuck, she loves her alcohol. It's how she deals, how she escapes from the pressures of being told about her 'destiny' and being special. How she numbs herself to avoid getting too close and hurting anyone else around her.]

I think the invite would only be for one or two people but namely just me. I enjoy watching someone get what is coming to them. But that's your own private affair and maybe only you should be the one that enjoys it. I wouldn't want anyone stopping you from what you got to do.

True. I just--not that it would make any frakking difference. I killed him at least six times while he had me kidnapped. And death still isn't permanent here either. But hopefully it will get the idea through his head to leave me alone. [Hey, she can dream, right? If only. At least for now she has some respite while he isn't in Asgard for the time being.]

Problematic is one way to put it. As I said to the Admiral of the Pegasus before, I drink, only to excess. [She gives him a knowing smirk and grin, raising her glass in agreement. She would never be opposed to drinking being a regular thing, and Tyki is surprisingly decent company.]

Oh, he's one of those people. Some are just really hard to kill unless you mean he just couldn't die. People like you and I can only get so much space until our enemies start creeping around. A shame.

[Even if he was the one that was the real threat. He never really left Allen alone for long.] We'll just have to get together more often then and keep that spirit of yours open to drinking.

Well, he was a cylon. He would just download into another body and come back to where he kept me locked away. I just figure and hope if I kill him enough times, he might get the message.

[She laughs and gives him a smile at that.] I wouldn't say no to that idea.

So they are more like machines instead of actual people? If so I think I have a better idea of them now.

[It sort of sounded like Akuma and yet he didn't entire know how many times he could stuff a soul into one. Besides, they weren't the same as they were going in than out.] Good. I was hoping not.

Like machines, yeah. They were originally robots we created to make life easier on the colonies. But they ended up revolting, sparking a war between us. Eventually, there was a stalemate, and armistice. They frakked off for about 40 years and then came back and destroyed our homes. Some might look human, but they aren't. Unfortunately I don't even know all the models, so for all I know, one might show up here and I couldn't say if they were a cylon.

[She manages a small, knowing smile at that.] I'm sure you were.

I should've put two and two together earlier but I get it now. Hmm, crazy ideas are still better left to doing anyways. At least you're fixing your problem, hmm? Or I hope so. I'm still fixing my war. [He paused.] 40 years? That must've been a hitch in someone's plans.

[He'll make a small snort at that.] Mmhmm.

I'm fixing it. Or, trying at least. Shooting down as many of the metal motherfrakkers as I can to protect Galactica and my pilots. Frak knows why they suddenly decided to come back. I couldn't care less the why so long as we deal with the present problems.

Heh, there are not many more of the enemy's side for us. Though if I were to die, my power would reawaken in another. It's not that simple for them. The war has been going on for a long time. Guess you're right. Present is more important.

Your power would be transferred to someone else? [Like the cylons and their memories or something?]

Pretty much. There are only thirteen or I should say fourteen people like me. When I die, someone else will gain the abilities that I have. It's a shame it will no longer be me or look like me. There would be no more Tyki Mikk. Just a new member of our Clan when the abilities awaken in another.

Someone else in your 'family' or would it be a random stranger that ends up with them and joining? [She supposes in a way that was....good? Meaning the abilities did not go to waste, so to speak. Kara is reminded of her talk with Sharon when they encountered Scar back home, the rather bitter and angry Raider that kept coming back and killing more of their pilots.]

Right now I kind of wish I had a photo I could show you. Oh well. But to answer your question, it would be a random person. Every human on Earth carries the genes of Noah it is just that only the fourteen of us actually 'awaken'. Whenever we meet up for drinks again, I might go into more detail. [Mostly because he didn't want to say everything and while he trusted Kara, any little slip of anything might ruin that. He was actually enjoying this little time together with certain people.]

A photo? That would be interesting to see. I guess it isn't something I'll ever see even if I think I sort of get the idea. So it could potentially be anyone that takes over from you? [She supposes at least it isn't apparently something restricted to gender or anything from the sounds of it, not as restrictive as the cylon models. There were only twelve models, no matter how many of each of them there were to download to.]

Maybe. I'll look forward to it then.

I'd really want one about now. I really miss my family. [He'll nod lightly.] That's right. It could be anyone from my world. Even those with Innocence it seems or maybe it was just a special case. Oh, look at me rambling off again.

I miss Galactica. Sam, Lee, the old man. I didn't have any photos of them on me either. I doubt many of us had any. I think there's a...shrine or something, maybe you could ask the gods for something from home there?

Even those with this Innocence? I take it that has only happened once or twice though.

I'm not asking those gods for anything. I refuse. [She'd hear a smirk if she listened closer.] Not even begging would ever get me to help them. If I do anything, it is going to be for me.

I'd milk them for all their worth, given they've brought us here without considering how we might feel about it and all. But then, that's just me. I guess that's one way to think about it though.

If they brought us here against our will, I doubt they care enough to give us what we want, baby. [There's a breath as he lights a cigarette.] I wouldn't care either way.

Well, they need some way to keep us happy and under their control so to speak. I'd figure giving us things if we ask seems a good way to compromise with that. Depending on what we ask for, I mean. I doubt they would let us have anything from home that could like, blow this place up or whatever. I don't think they trust us that much.

It would take mind control to get me that far. If they know anything about me they would know better than to try. Not to mention, returning my original powers would be a blessing. Trust? That's a stretch.

Like I told you, I'm not too worried on the powers thing since I never had any myself. I understand it must be...weird though, to suddenly not have something you always did.

I think they are well aware not all of us are obedient little soldiers ready to hang on to and obey their every order and word. Probably part of the reason for the powers thing, I guess.

I didn't like it but I've said that before. I've adapted. Nothing can stop me if I don't want it to.

They can die in a ditch for all I care. Either way, work on those powers they bestowed upon you.

I am. I will try get better with the whole flight thing. Just need to get used to the idea of it without using a viper.
