Okay, so. That went. Well, I guess. And it's good to know that death doesn't seem to be a problem if we die fighting this frakking war. I don't think it's quite the same as the cylons, but death not being permanent is still....frakking creepy if you ask me. But welcome back to those we lost? Sounds like everyone is back now.

Anyway, I figured out which power I have. Flight. Pretty fitting I guess, since I was a pilot back home. It will take a bit more practice to really get the hang of it, without being in a viper, but it's good to know what power I have now.

Arya, you okay, kid? I got a small handgun for you. We can set up targets for you to practice, if you really do want to learn to use it. It's nothing too big or fancy, but I'm not sure you would want anything much bigger than this, especially with recoil. And if anyone is wanting to complain to me about this, I don't give a frak. She asked me to teach her. I didn't force her or tell her she should learn. And she already knows how to use other weapons.

I was going to consider asking what might happen once this is all over, for those who were dead back home, but I see someone else already beat me to that, so I won't go into that.

And yeah, so it seems. I'm still not quite the best at it, but now I know I can practice at least. Which is something.

I kind of liked fighting them. I didn't like the way their cold skin reacted with my flesh though.

Just don't be jumping off houses and cliffs until you're sure you'll survive. [Teasing.]

Yeah. They're...kind of creepy like that. I'm still not sure what to make of them.

[She laughs at that, shaking her head with a smile and raised eyebrow.] I won't. Besides, even if I did and I died you would still be stuck with me.

Nipped a bit of skin in some places but I've been healed. Thankfully I was wearing gloves even if they got a little cold, stiff and bloody. Kind of ruined now.

[He grins.] Very true but all the same, keep it to beds and onto other people that break your fall, okay?

That'd good. Gloves at least can be replaced easily enough. Your arm on the other hand, doubtful, and at least would take longer to heal.

Are you volunteering there then, to be my landing cushion?

Death not being something to worry about it creepy, but yeah it's useful. Otherwise the ones we lost at the fight would have been worse on us. Then again, the gods can pull us from other points in time. That's creepier to me.

Yeah. I guess in a way I'm lucky I haven't really had to deal with that since I'm the only one from home here. But I know what you mean, I can imagine how weird that must be.

You get used to it. I wouldn't call it luck when if you stay here long enough, you experience it from one side.

I guess I'll see if that ends up happening. I'd rather everyone stay back home with the fleet, but I gather I don't exactly get any control whether any of them get pulled here as well.

Yeah, that's the gods decision. Or it seems that way. Who knows at this point. It's not as disheartening as it sounds. For all the crap we're putting up with, we can still travel.

I guess that's something. Not that we haven't been traveling back home trying to find Earth anyway, but sure. I guess that's a plus. New sights and people. More superior assholes to argue with.

We're in the territory of the Norse gods and folklore. Old legends of their culture and ways are alive and well here. Dragons, giants, and more interesting and terrifying horrors.

Norse or whatever, these Gods are not mine, not the ones I prayed to back home. I guess that's the thing though, people here from so many different worlds, some probably believe in Thor and Loki and the rest here even.

I have to admit I do like my hands and arm intact. I use them quite often. Got too many scars as it is.

[Laugh.] If that is what I should be. Don't go crushing me now.

Yeah, I know what that's like. Still have one on my stomach from when I got shot. I guess I should be thankful the cylons found me and took me to their hospital to treat me, but still. [It wasn't an experience she ever wanted to repeat. Knowing what they were doing to those women in attempt to reproduce. But she recovers quick enough after a deep breath.]

Cylons helping you out? Not sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Must've been a hidden motive. It's rare the enemy actually wants to help.

They--they were trying to lure human females there, claiming the hospital had supplies, food. But they were wanting to use them for their experiments. Trying to figure out how to reproduce. I--if I hadn't stopped them, if I hadn't escaped...I don't want to think about what they would have done to me.

I don't know. You have to be crazy to volunteer for anything with me though.

[He pauses to listen. Tyki didn't make it a habit to hurt women mostly because in his world a good lot of them were weak. There wasn't any point in picking on someone unable to defend themselves or beautiful. It was a shame when he had almost killed Lenalee and Miranda. If it hadn't been for Kanda, it might've ended up that way.] We don't have to talk about this if you don't want to. I was just curious.

It's okay. I stopped them. I just haven't really talked about Caprica in what seems like forever. [Gods, she had barely really talked about it to Lee. At least Sam sort of understood, for the most part. He'd been there on Caprica, even if he hadn't been in the hospital to see what the cylons were attempting in person.]

Well, everyone needs a little crazy and risk in life, or it's pretty boring if you ask me.

I'm not a believer, I don't think that has to deal with why we're here at all. Whether we like it or not, they're a higher order being than we are.
