021 ✿ Audio+Video
Hey! Did anyone else here realize dwarves are really great?
I'm really serious. Their city is kind of shit, there aren't many plants around at all, but they make really, really good alcohol and they're fun to drink with.
[Euri had a fun time in Svartalfheim, for the most part. It was a nice little vacation, even if the end of it had gotten pretty violent.]
They're good at making weapons, too. [Her tone is turning very pleased and she switches to video. The giant mushroom she and Riku are staying in in Gefion Park is in the background, along with her nearly overgrown-looking garden. In her hand is a metal staff. It isn't overly fancy, but it looks like a lot more than just a simple metal rod.]
I finally got my own staff there! It isn't even that heavy. I think they do something to adjust the weight, it's really easy to hold. [As a demonstration she'll spin it in one hand, before setting one end on the ground.] I think I'd go back there, even if it means taking that train.

[There's dozens of questions running through his mind, still, not all of them ones he wants to ask or necessarily know the answers to. But he finally settles on a neutral one.]
Is the Mushroom House still standing?

... Goat is still around, too.

What, did you finally get sick of Kaz and kick him out for good? [He says it jokingly, unaware of just... how much it'll probably sting.]
[But her next statement actually makes his expression lift, slightly.] You're kidding.

Euri just pauses for a few moments, feeling her throat tighten up. She'll just give him a nod in return.]

He notices her sudden shift in expression, and mood. It's like the air in the room suddenly becomes ten times heavier, and he can't help but kick himself, mentally, for that.]
Ah. [He should've figured, since they sent him away, too. Kaz was also an obvious target.]
...If I'm being honest, I can't say I'm disappointed. Me and him never got along very well. But, I know you liked him, and you two were close.
[It's the closest he'll ever come to an apology, or sympathize with her over anything involving Kaz.]
no subject
... But that's something to hold onto. If Vanitas was brought back, then maybe Kaz will be too.]
... Thanks. That means a lot.
no subject
...Time to change the subject.]
So Goat's still alive? I never would've guessed she'd last for this long.

You can come see her if you want. Anytime.
no subject
[Because as of right now, that's not a very viable option.]

And... if you want to come back to the mushroom, you're free to. I'm not going to kick Riku out, but there's plenty of room....
no subject
['Cause he and Riku had never exactly been on good terms. Not Kaz levels of dislike, but he was sure the other Keyblade wielder might take some issue with him crashing there out of the blue.]

[Of course Vanitas is the model of innocence..........cough.]
