[Arya hasn’t even realized she’s turned her bracelet on, simply playing with turning it from where it hangs about her wrist. She’s lost it once before but has it returned to her after a bit of scolding from her brother at the time. Now it is in it’s rightful place as brother and sister converse. Jon is sitting behind her, carefully trying to braid his sister’s hair which is beginning to get long again after such a length of time in Asgard.]

You know, Sansa would do this all day if I’d let her - braid my hair. I think you might actually be better at it!

[She laughs, tilting her head back a bit to laugh in his face where he can see it.]

[Unaware as well that this is getting broadcasted, Jon frowns lightly as he redoes a braid twice, gaze lowered and focused. Though his burnt hand has regained strength enough for him to wield Longclaw anytime he needs it, it still lost some of the more delicate dexterity. His sister’s words make him smile lightly.]

You would not say such a thing if you could see it from here. Your hair is looking quite close to Ygritte’s by now. [He teases Arya, of course. The braid he’s making is not the most straight one, but there’s no knots in her hair, unlike the spearwife used to have.]

You mean messy, right? I still might cut it all off sometime. It’s long!!

[Long hair automatically equales ‘girly’ in her mind. She wrinkles her nose at him before letting him get back to it. The more she moves around, the more chances of him having to start over again.]

[Jon pauses and tilts his head, moving so he can look at Arya.]

Why? Even the spearwives amongst the Wildlings have long hair. Some of the men did too. And sometimes their beards were even longer than their hair.

[Tormund had a great bushy beard after all.]

Did they braid their beards too? [That’s a funny to picture, in her head. She knows next to nothing about wildlings save for what her brother and Old Nan have told her.]

Oh! [And this was about the time she realized her bracelet had been recording.]

I accidentally turned my bracelet on, now people can see how good you are at doing my hair.

[She’s teasing, really!!]

[Jon shakes his head, nearly rolling his eyes] If they want knots in their hair, perhaps.

He's been practicing!

[Not really practicing but he does get after her to make herself look neat sometimes. Braiding her hair is one instance, of course. She can't be bothered to do it herself or it comes out worse than what he's doing.]

And you are kind to let him do it.

It is a bit... crooked. But it gives the look a bit of... character. [ She's being kind but she enjoys them both so much that it's easy.]

It gets in the way if he doesn't do it, or ends up all in knots if I try to. It doesn't look right when I do it.

[Mostly because she tried copying how Sansa did her hair once, though not as fancy as she'd worn it in King's Landing, and that was just a disaster. The way Jon did it was much more simple.]

Yes, I remember that it was quite a nuisance when I was younger and trying to shoot a bow.

[ The two of them together are a downright adorable sight. She hasn't been avoiding the brother and sister, per se, but she did act a bit foolish, so she's been keeping some distance. But this? She has to reply to this. ]

Oh, no, don't cut your hair. Sometimes I wish mine would grow out faster.

He won't let me cut it, or I'd just do that instead!!

[She doesn't see the point in letting it grow so long, but he insists and part of her doesn't mind it. She hates being called a boy anyway so long hair stopped that from happening.]

Did you ever try to shoot while riding a horse?

[Mostly because Arya is trying to picture it now, with Jon still hard at work on her hair.]

[And since the weirdness from before is over, Arya is more than happy to be more talkative with Snow ~~now that she's less snuggly with her brother~~.]

It gets in the way though and gets all tangled up and messy. Not that I mind messy.

Oh, no. You mustn't. Your hair is too lovely.

[ She smiles and nods.] Yes. Many times. Although I must admit I used a crossbow. It's a bit easier.

[He knows she's trying to be kind, and while he would have preferred this to stay private, he can live with Mithian's gentle teasing.]

I suppose so. At least, I have refrained myself from tying knots in her hair.

[Why yes, he can tease back. At least his sister.]

[This is weird, but he knows now that it wasn't Snow's normal behavior when she couldn't let go of him. Just like him and the candies. He offers a small smile to the brunette]

Snow, if you find a way to convince Arya to keep her hair long without me having to threaten her to take away her sword, I would forever be in your debt.

You are doing a fine job of it. I am sure if I had any brothers they would not be able to do so well.

Jon says he'll take my sword away if I cut it, but I still want to.

[POUTING SO MUCH AT THIS. Jon that sword is her life!!]

Oh, I haven't gotten to use one much. I didn't back home anyway. A boy named Anguy taught me to use a bow better than I would have learned otherwise, teaching myself.

[She didn't miss him much, but talking about him made her miss Gendry and Hot Pie.]

Who taught you?

At first, I made one the knights teach me. Which did not make my father happy. [ She laughed.] He believed that I should invest my time with more ladylike pursuits. But I am rather stubborn. So he agreed to teach me in exchange for me taking dance lessons. [ Which she rather liked.]

[ Hey, look, she didn't expect to get all snuggly with Arya's brother. This place is strange. ]

And that's why it's a good thing Jon can help you braid it. When my hair was long, I didn't let a few tangles and some messiness stop me.

[ She smiles in return. ]

Taking away her sword would be a bit harsh. I'm sure there's a happy medium to be struck. Plus, I imagine trying to take away her sword wouldn't be an easy task.

[Don't mind his smile there, Ezio is trying not to laugh because this reminds him of how bossy Claudia can be.]

[Kara has no idea what a 'wildling' is but she gets the idea and the picture evoked by the description of someone with a longer beard than their hair is kind of amusing.]

You're sure it wouldn't be easier to just cut it? I find mine is a lot easier to deal with now I've cut it shorter again myself. But if you don't mind it longer, it is easier to keep it tied back, even just in a ponytail.

[She's seen Jon around, but has no idea who he actually is. Rue plays with a strand of her own hair.]

Why are you braiding her hair? Are you a stylist?

Well now, you might even look like a lady now.
