[Castiel is all business, as usual, in turning on the feed; he's broadcasting from his nice home in Freyr district, not actually at work at the moment, and he has his serious face on ~~not that that's different from usual.~~ His voice is even and clinical, but to those that know him well he sounds a bit more subdued than usual, lacking the normal underlying enthusiasm for the subjects he's about to discuss.]

When I was here before, I was working on a compilation of powers and detailed information on abilities, limitations, and uses for each of them at their different levels of strength. It is now outdated, but I would like to improve upon on it.

I am interested in hearing from anyone who has more information, even on entries that already contain details, and particularly on those that don't.

I am also interested in distribution of individuals among the houses. When I was here the first time, particularly in the first few days, Heimdall house vastly outmatched the others in terms of numbers. I am curious as to if that has changed, and how the balance stands now.

[So feel free to chime in with houses if you desire to share; he's curious, and collecting and analyzing the information will give him something to do. The public part of the feed ends there, as he switches to a private filter.]

That is interesting. Do you have to maintain focus to keep the animals formed?

Yes, but it's easier once they're made. I've found that I can either make them very lifelike or control a variety of animals, but not a variety of very lifelike animals. There's a limit to how many details I can manage at once. Others may not have that difficulty; I only know of one other person who's as advanced as I am, and I've never seen him control more than one animal at a time.

Do the animals have any will of their own?

They follow commands without direct control, and can maintain some semblance of life, but that's about all.

Can you create things other than animals, such a supplies or weapons?

I'm not sure what you mean by supplies, but I can easily create simple tools--a hammer, a bowl, a blade...anything without moving parts, really. I can use shadows for armor, as well, although i'm not sure it would stop something like an arrow.

That is essentially what I mean, yes. Things like blankets as well; anything that would be of use during an emergency.

[And that note about armour is interesting as well.]

I could create a blanket, but I don't know how warm it would be. I'll have to experiment. It isn't like the drawing power, though. While other people could use those things, I doubt that they could be taken very far from me, and would disappear if I lost concentration.
