[ the feed clicks onto a strange girl with a green complexion, along with dog ears and a wispy tail that can be seen on the edge of the camera's vision. before speaking, she sniffles and wipes the deep green tears from her eyes; it's obvious that she's been sobbing her eyes out. ]

One of the Gods said that we were supposed to be heroes, but how can we do that? I don't understand how we can do anything when we're trapped here. None of us can use our old powers... how do they expect us to save the entire world? I couldn't do anything back where I came from, and it is the same here. It's hopeless! 

[ her voice cracks, and fresh tears begin to pearl up at the edges of her eyes. ]

I want to go back to where my friends were. Can someone help me leave?

[ she shakes her head. ] I haven't seen anybody. They're probably better off without me... they all had important jobs to do.

But we don't even know what we're supposed to do!

N.. no, that's probably not true! If they're your friends, then they're not better off without you at all! They'd probably miss you a lot, you know!

[dogtear]

[ she shakes her head. ] I was just bringing them down. I was too scared to help anybody in their tasks.

[ she doesn't even know if she transported the sword to Derse safely... for all she knows, she messed that up too. ]

You were scared..?

... W-well, everyone is a little scared sometimes. There's nothing bad or weird about that.

[dogtear]

[ nod nod. ] The Green Sun was so big and bright... oh god, I don't even want to think about it!

But if you're scared all the time, what does that mean?

[myjunes]

Green Sun? But.. the sun isn't green, right? It's yellow!

... Hmm.. Maybe there's just a lot of scary stuff around you then? [ seems to make sense to her. ]

[dogtear]

No, not that kind of sun! The Green Sun is completely different. It's way bigger than the regular sun!

Of course there is! What am I supposed to do about it?

T-then.. why is it called 'sun' when it's not the sun..? [ sob, sorry Jadesprite, curious kids.. ]

I don't know, but.. um, once there was a monster under my bed! So I told dad, and he scared it away for me! So.. maybe your dad can do the same!

[dogtear]

Because it is a sun, but not The Sun. You wouldn't understand.

Oh... no... [ she's crying again. why do you keep bringing up people that are dead???? ]

[ gjdfjgkfdjg forget everything, Nanako is too busy being confused because oh no this girl is crying again this is bad.. ]

A-- a-are you okay..?

No! I don't have a dad, or anybody like that!

B-.. but.. how can't you have a dad..? Everyone has a dad, right..?

[ even if her mom is dead, she still has a mom, or had a mom in a sense, at least. ]
