From what I have been told there is no way to force one's return to their world so I'll not ask how such a thing can be done. I've also been told our abduction has no immediate effect on our world, and if this is so then that would answer my next question. Thus I am left with the questions of what to do with myself while in captivity.

Trust me when I say there is no known way out of this realm. If there were, we would not be speaking in such a manner. The Gods here have ensured our stay and participation in events to come.

These ones, apparently. It's the whole reason they dragged us here in the first place, to help them when they require it.

I've no inclination to serve them, and to do so would do insult to my own gods.

Whether or not you serve them is your choice. They can't force you.

Then these gods are impotent beyond their abilities of abduction?

Not entirely. They have their powers, they just don't always use them to enforce us to follow or help them.

Then their powers are used to what end?

Fighting amongst themselves from what I can see.

Is the tale or time older? Where I am from it is said the gods existed before time, time is their creation.

I don't believe in any sort of gods. They usually turn out to be advanced civilizations and alien societies.

[She shrugs]

Then again, I suppose I'm biased. I was raised by a cult.

No. Think about it this way. If you attacked a very small, very primal village far far away, would you not be looked upon as a God reigning death and chaos down upon them?

It's the same sentiment, only these are not gods. They are just much more advanced.
