There passes only a moment’s surprise – eyebrows quirked, thoroughly unamused – before Sherlock’s expression settles and his eyes roam across the interface. Not ideal, showing his face like this. Not at all ideal, but whoever has him now obviously already knows it. Whoever brought him here, put this bracelet on his wrist, and there are so many reasons he should cut the feed now, so very many reasons, but it would be pointless, wouldn’t it? They know he’s alive. That means he hasn’t much time, not much at all. And so instead of ending it, instead of cutting the feed now, he speaks.]

I can't speak for our hosts, but I will take a stab at your questions, old chap. You're in Asgard, which seems to be the home of some supernaturally endowed beings calling themselves the Norse gods, and is located in what appears to be a meeting of different realities.

[Sherlock raises his eyebrows, utterly silent for a few moments. Even after they pass he offers no more than an incredulous snort. He has heard very many stories and excuses in his time, such as it has been, but this is entirely new. Even the madmen he knows aren't this brazen.]

The action is routine, familiar, and takes some of the edge of Sherlock's silent questioning -- though let's be honest, that is just as familiar, and it might be hard to decide just which was more familiar and welcome at this instant.]

[At that Sherlock's eyes narrow. While he's mostly dismissed the idea of this being wholly sinister -- it simply makes no bloody sense -- that doesn't mean he's entirely dismissed it. And that? That makes him oh so very suspicious. His tone could be incredulous, could be startled, but it isn't. Not a bit. Instead, it's low, dangerous, not the slightest bit of lightness to it.]
