We can go where they can't. It would be stupid of them not to hold onto us as long as they feasibly can.

Can we? Funny that "gods" need the help of mortals.

It's not unheard of. Most mythology and religious texts all have some form of Gods requesting help from man. It's very possible those who penned it did so to feel part of something greater than themselves.

It's also possible it's a partnership between the two, and always will be. Without us, who will believe in them or remember them?

Partnershipped or coerced? [ Except beyond getting placed here, it's like as if they were locked up and being forced. ]

If we're to speak about partnerships, though, what if I already believe in another god?

I was speaking in general, not on this specific situation. In this one, we were linked to the soul of a god and pulled from our lives.

Essentially, it's a lot like the iron ball and chain. We're here whether we want to be, or not. Which is pretty fuckin rude if you ask me.

That has yet to be determined. We're stuck here for now, whether we assist them or not. We don't have anything to lose by siding with them.
