[Sam has actually been back in Asgard for a few hours. It's taken him that much to wander around and get his bearings -- and, as such, he has found himself in the library, where he spent much of his time when he was first here.

He figures it's a good place for people to know and find him, should anyone want to talk to him.

-- or something.

He offers his bracelet a warm, but tired smile -- kind of like he's just run a marathon without more than a few pauses to catch his breath. Still, Sam seems to be in good spirits, and it shows in his tone.]

Anyone volunteering information?

[We'll see who is still here and who isn't.]

I guess that's a pretty good way of putting it, but I have absolutely no idea how any of this works. The most I've figured out is that the gods' bring our consciousness here and the only way we can go back to our world and still remain here is through our dreams.

[Pause.]

It's kind of like the Matrix.

Or Inception.

[He nods.]

I sort of get it. Either way, it's cool to have you back.

It's kind of cool to be back.

[Sam has come to a certain amount of peace about his predicament in his own universe -- but he won't lie, being back in Asgard is kind of a breath of fresh air, even if he has a large amount of problems with the universe's existence.]

I've heard people have found a clan of mermaids, but has anything else thrilling happened since I left? No rogue dragon attacks or anything?

Not that I know of.

[He shrugs.]

Uh- Candy hearts rained from the sky for a bit. Made you kiss or hit random people, that sucked.

That's...

[How does he even describe that.]

Obnoxious.

Yeah. Kiss a girl you sort of like, hug a dude you hate, punch your best friend- all of that sort of got really old after awhile.

They've controlled our actions and impulses before, but it wasn't in such a harmless way the last time that I was here.

[Sam sort of murdered like five people it's fine.]

...what do you mean by that?

People have been mind-controlled because of this war we've been thrust into.

[Sam won't really go into much more detail than that, but it wasn't pretty. Or nice.]
