No. Some people are dead, some people have friends from other universes who won't see them once they all go back. It's not that simple, it's not all about just waiting to return knowing you'll see someone. For some, this is all they have.

[ For Oswin, this is all there is, and he's had friends of other universes disappear on him. It happens to everyone. And the gods don't even seem to care. ]

Then they got something extra, Doctor. It isn't about what is being taken away or lost, it's about what they had here. What they got, they weren't supposed to. It's not a loss, it's more.

Doctor, I'm half-human. A single life. And I got to see you again. I got to talk to the only other person in the entire universe who will ever know the things I know, speak our language. If I left tomorrow and went back to that empty world where I'm stuck on the slow path, I got to see you again. I got to find out what Eleven looks like!

Amy might be gone, but she got to be here with you and Rory and the TARDIS and everyone else. If this is all they have, they got to have it with people who cared about them, became their family if they weren't already. Isn't that more than most humans get?

[Eleven is upset, and even he can see that, but Theta doesn't back down or match with anger. Ten was a hopeful regeneration, waiting to see the universe all over again with new eyes. He's trying to understand, see another side of it.]

That doesn't matter, don't you see it doesn't matter? It's a gift for some, yes, but the gods are still playing with life and they have no right. No one has any right.
