[Searching is just something Tyki is use to which is why it took him so long to even make this post. He wasn't use to the easy flow and reliability of technology. Brown eyes with a hint of gold if one stood close enough stares deep into the device.]

Road? I bought some more candy for you. [Tyki will just stare like that into the bracelet for a long while and after an hour or so, he'll move to turn it off. The feed will only turn back on hour after hour, again and again. Each time her name will get more persistent and urgent in its calling. Finally he just returns to staring. He'll pause instead and move his fingers up to brush dark hair from his Portuguese skin.]

Someone recommend me somewhere I can get a decent drink.

Has she left?

[Tyki doesn't answer at first. He doesn't want to admit she has but somehow he just knows.]

I have a feeling she has.

[ a small sympathetic nod. ]

[ Kaworu's smile doesn't drop- instead, it becomes softer. ]

I talked to Road a couple of times; met her just as many. There were two instances when she allowed me to see her. [ to actually see her ]

When I played piano for her.

And when she punched me.

[ and that soft smile? For a second there it may look like a small smirk. Maybe. But this information, take it as you will, Tykki. Kaworu won't add much else about it. ]

[Somehow he considered that more irritating than anything until he hears of the piano. It only made sense Allen might not play for Road. She liked that. At least he wanted to think that way.

Staring at his face again, his own face is almost judging, concerned and questioning.] She kept to herself?

[That was worrying even if she wasn't here anymore. It doesn't stop him from asking.] Punching. I wonder if you pissed her off.

That's something she'd know. [ and Road isn't there to ask. Kaworu didn't ask either, but he has a fairly good idea why he was punched. ]

That is obvious. [He wish he had more time to talk to her. He really wanted her here despite what he says.]

I don't. Only a couple of us know how. [Unless you counted the 14 too.]

[ Kaworu nods ]

[ Kaworu figured it was something like that, after Road's reaction to it ]

[He'll go back to staring because he mostly can. Trying to judge someone else character is always something he's good at.] I know that. Would you have considered her a friend?

[ HE IS WATCHING THE CONVERSATION ABOVE WITH MORE THAN A LITTLE CONCERN AND FRAYING NERVES...

Tyki will grin, wide and curved.] Then it's true. She's gone. Good. She'll have her Noah and she'll be happy.

[But he won't. Denial festers. The bitterness and pain inside of his chest and his black heart won't fade but he can dull it down.] She's safe with our family.

[ Allen just -- pauses. That sharply thoughtful, gently neutral expression. ]

It's better for most people that they get to go back. [ Even Road deserves that. But he also knows better than to believe Tyki's just scoffing that off right now. Which makes the situation potentially dangerous. Which is why he's so cautious.

After all, you'd probably be lousy at a game of cards right now, Tyki. ]

I'll just treat it like a no limits vacation. Not like I'm being called back.

[He scratches at his chest where his scars would be under that shirt. Cards at this time would be a horrible idea. This is why he's going to go dull his senses with booze.

That might actually be a worse idea.] You don't drink, do you? Probably don't know any good places.

[ Ironically, he probably could tell you, Tyki. Just from being subjected to being one Cross Marian's pupil and having to spend so much time in overpriced establishments like that. He could probably tell a local favorite just about anywhere just from glancing at it.

Now he's going to spend every copper he earned on cheap beer. It'll take a lot to get him where he wants to be. Gentleman aside, he won't be using any of that part of himself. He snorts a little, just a little and rubs his thumb against the side of the bracelet.]

[ It's hardly like he'll help you or anyone get soused. ~~He didn't have much of a choice with his master.~~

But there's a pause. ]

Men who try to drink their problems away generally don't. [ Steady-faced, but soft. ]

[It's clear now he's moving into the nearest establishment he can find whether Allen is helping or not. Talking and walking. He doesn't care right now who he runs into.]

Doesn't make it any less pleasurable at the time.
