[A yawn can be heard as the blonde-haired boy stared blankly into the bracelet, rotating it around as it was on his wrist. Well, looks like the thing is working properly, might as well address something.]

I'll never be able to get over how something like this, and such a place, can exist. One cannot doubt what life can throw at someone such as myself, and instead, I take it with open arms. With that out of the way, I think it's only formal to address who I am. Some of you know who I am already, but at this point, it seems irrelevant.

[This was a lot easier then he expected, alas, Giorno cannot help, but smirk at the ease of this. He needs something like this for Passione, but seeing as how that's not possible at the moment...]

Giorno Giovanna. Now then, unto the reason for making this...

It seems that after a little chat with someone I recently met here, it came to my attention that I need to...socialize. [The side of his mouth budged at the mention of that word. Jeez, this really is awkward.] And these bracelets seem to help out a lot in that matter. However, if you want to converse, feel free. If not, be on your way, I don't have time to waste on you. [He says this, a stare that pierces the soul.] ...did I sound harsh?

But.. yeah. I guess I'm pretty excited for it too, okay? I definitely won't rest until you can say you've had the most fun time of your life here.

[...and then it hit him; this girl was going to show him the time of his life over here. He certainly didn't expect it to happen this way but it certainly did.]

And to think I'd get along with someone like you in the first place. It goes to show that even the most bizarre of things can happen to people like us, right? I would shake your hand right now, but...

[If only these bracelets acted like portals. Curse not having conversations in person.]

I'll still have to think about the specific details! I can't just think all of that up on the spot, you know, it's not like I do this sort of thing for just anyone who passes by..!

Right, right, my mistake for acting upon instinct. Although, I wonder, why are you doing this for me anyways? It's not like you owe me anything in the first place.

... What, do I really need a reason to do it for you? I just can't stand it to see people having absolutely no fun or friends in their life, something like that just isn't right! So then it's up to someone to make it right again, and I guess in this case it just happens to be me!

I do have friends, though. Hm, well, that's besides the point. [A small smile falls upon his face.] Well, if that's your way of seeing it, then...I guess I have no choice but to comply. I do need to repay you at some point later in life...ah, well, I'll think of that some other time.

[Curse this video interaction, otherwise a hand would be offered for a deal sealer.]

[ You should be glad that it's not in person, Giorno! At least this way there's no risk of getting punched by her, after all.. ]

No way, why would you have to repay me? Friends just do stuff like this for each other, no questions asked! It'd be ridiculous if you'd have to repay your friends for every little thing they do. You just have to be there for them when they need it in return, that's all!

[He's had his arm cut off before, a little punch can't be that bad! Unless it was the punch that severed his arm, then...]

[What is this concept of not repaying someone? The look on Giorno's face tells that he's pretty confused.] ...being there for them? But...hm. This certainly is different then from what I'm used to. Alright, I get it, then. I'll be there for you when it counts, like how you were here for me.

Geez, I still can't believe nobody bothered to teach you things as simple as this.. Even the most antisocial people in my school back home know at least this much, I'm sure! [ Really makes her wonder about his kind of life, really. ]

[ Except that Giorno is less grumpy.. but still, just as clueless about social stuff that's this logical to Asahi. ]

I didn't really have friends growing up, although the closest thing I really had was a group of teenage girls admiring my looks. [His deadpan face can tell the tale all to well.] And my parents...well, they weren't the best of people. I'll tell you that tale later, along with several other things.

...I'm sure whoever this K' was, we would've gotten along just well. Albeit, he doesn't share my brash comebacks.

[Actually, that would've helped out better in the long run.]

[ .. WAIT.. How can he mention both those things so casually?! He had girls all over him (which is so close to awakening the tsundere in her, but it slumbers for now) and he had bad parents too? And he pretends that it's nothing special? ]

How many weird things are you going to have about you? [ Bluntly.. ] Don't pretend like both those things are nothing, they're both a big deal!

...not a big deal? [His eyes instantly narrow at her, a bit of a scowl forming on his face.] The girl's I could care less about, none of them managed to catch my eye, so love right now isn't an issue. However...

[His eyes begin to shake a bit, looking as though tears were about to fall.] No. My parents were never there for me. My mother would always abandon me when I was a little kid, leaving me home alone with my abusive step father who would constantly beat me. Even at school, I would get bullied, money taken from me. Everything frightened me because of how awful I was treated. And if you claim this isn't a big deal... [He gritted his teeth, clenching his fists tightly.] ...I'm...sorry...I got carried away.

[ ....

What is she supposed to do with this guy? Every time he turns around it's like she discovers something new about him, something she didn't even expect or see coming. To think he's had that kind of life, and that he'd even blurt it out to her like that..

.. Yeah, what is she even going to do with him? ]

Listen. Where are you now, Giovanna? [ She seems awfully calm.. ]

...tch. Right now I'm hanging outside the Sigyn Welcome Hall, admiring these...plants. It helps me calm down a bit.

[What propelled him to even say those things? Was it the fact that Asahi made it out to not be important? Or was it the fact that...he can actually trust her, someone he just recently met? The thoughts are making his head spin. But eventually, he just snaps out of it.]

...Why do you ask?

[He's back to his normal, blank expression.]

You'll see. Don't move from your spot.

[ And with those (almost omnious) words she turns off the bracelet, stopping the feed. And she immediately moves over from Heimdall to Sigyn, pretty quickly even considering the fact she actually runs over. She stops once she arrives at the Welcome Hall though, staring around until she finds the boy and then she starts running again once she's right in front of him.

She doesn't even offer a word of explanation when she shows up, she just stares at him, frowning as if she's almost troubled about this.. (It's a guy, after all.)

But then she slowly starts.. but instead she just ends up doing it in her quick and brash matter, she moves to hug him. Except it's Asahi, so it's more like a half-pounce. ]

[So he decided to stick around, sure. Might as well, considering Asahi might do something brash if he didn't. Soon enough, when the girl comes up to him, his eyes lighten up a bit, but soon enough, they resume their normal, lazy look. Although, the look on her face doesn't look all-too well, so it just forces him to smile.]

I'm sorry, did I do something wrong? Heh, my apologies, Asahi. You know-oof!

[That nearly knocked the wind out of him. What in the world was she thinking, just pouncing unto him like that?! He was about to yell at her when the sudden realization came about that she...she was actually hugging him. A hug? Well, that's certainly something he wasn't accustomed to. Although, he's still lost over why she's doing th- oh. Oooooh. Well now he just feels bad she went out of her way just to do this. But...it doesn't help the fact that the smile on his face grows wider, along with the fact that there's some weird substance dropping from his eyes.]

...you didn't have to do this. [A sniff comes from him as he wraps his arms around her, as well.]

[ That sniff-- g.. geez, he's crying too now?! She feels sort of embarassed, so she was about ready to just let go of him, but there's no way she can do that when he's starting to hug her back and cry, that'd just be.. mean. Wrong. So instead she just keeps standing there, hoping that it gives at least some sort of comfort. ]

Yeah, I know. But it's since you're such a moron and suddenly say stuff like that out of nowhere, got it? [ .. Always tsundere in her own special way when it comes to guys in general, even when it's not in a love way.. ] I mean.. that stuff about your family just sucks. Nobody should have to deal with that.

When you grow up like that, it makes you a different person then from when you were younger. Trust me...if it wasn't for my past, I wouldn't be where I am today. I wouldn't be the person standing here today. And I'm...glad it happened that way, despite all the pain I have endured up to this point. [He lets go of the embrace, and puts a hand on Asahi's head.] I wouldn't have met the people that made my life. And... I wouldn't have gotten along with you.

...although calling me a moron when I'm telling you this... [Bam, just like that, he's back to his old self, although that smile is replaced with a scowl.] ...that's highly uncalled for. Just remember, I'll find a way to get you back.

Don't only pick up on the 'moron' part when we're having a serious conversation, moron!

[ It's obvious that she's lashing out just since she's embarassed by all this though, her cheeks even a faint pink before she wildly shakes her head as if she's trying to shake it off. ]

But aside from that.. I guess what you're saying, yeah. If any of us didn't go through the things we did, then we wouldn't have been us..

.. Even if it's wrong. [ That's something she's firmly settled on. ] You're a nice guy, so you don't deserve that kind of thing! Being treated in such an awful way, no matter the reason, it isn't right..! [ Maybe it's some personal experience too, but she's passionate about it either way. ]

You know, Asahi... [He bent forward, inches away from her face.] ...You're a pretty nice girl yourself, despite your...rather brash nature. Although it can't be helped, I suppose.

[A shrug.] Even though we've only had one encounter before, I could say you're my best friend ever since coming here. And I put emphasis on that strongly. [Look at that smug grin he has plastered on his face.] It's too bad, though. Liking you, that is. [A yawn as he pulls away, standing upright. Straight to the point, as usual, although he didn't realize the context behind what he just said.]

Ah, anyways...you. Tell me about your past.

[ W.. why is he leaning so close..?! Nope, no way, she can't handle that! Even if he's her friend, he's a guy, so.. nope, nope, too close for comfort. She visibly gets embarassed again, unable to do anything but stare at him. Like a deer caught in the headlights of a truck. She's so embarassed that she can't even yell at him for calling her brash. ]

H.. hold on a moment! Best friend..?! [ SHE'S STILL TRYING TO PROCESS ALL OF THIS, OKAY. She was too distracted by him leaning closer like that! ]

Isn't that who you call someone you poor your deepest, darkest secrets into? [Did he get it all wrong, is that not what a best friend is? Ah, whatever, this girl is weird anyways. He just sighs, standing upright, no longer leaning in close.] There are just some things in this world that I may never understand, least of all one being you. [A yawn.]

In any event, you're doing that thing again where your face turns red, what is that feeling called...embarrassment? Yes, that.

Yeah, embarassment is a normal emotion! Don't pretend like it's something weird that I do all the time!

[ Her face is only getting redder at that.. deep breaths, Asahi, deep breaths before you punch someone!! ]

I mean.. I guess you're a good friend of mine too!
