[Gwen is at a complete lost with what to do, but luckily she has Merlin beside her to help her right now. With him, she is able to figure out how to make this video. The simple thought of it was be on her wildest imagination. But here she was, making something she could have never dreamed of happen.]

Um... Hello? [And, of course, she sounded nervous.] My name is Guinevere. I’ve been told that I can talk to people through this, so I hope it’s working. Merlin has been kind enough to explain this whole place to me. Though it’s still a bit much to take in all at once, isn’t it? But I suppose I’ll have to get used to it.

[She quickly stopped herself, noticing that she was rambling. Nerves had a funny habit of doing that to her. So she was going to get herself back on track.]

From what Merlin has told me, there are others from our… world. [That was by far the most awkward thing she has ever said, and she had a feeling that things were only going to get much more bizarre.] And he told me that my Lord wished to speak with me. I'm happy to go wherever you may need me.

[She frowned, feeling so awkward about this whole thing and turned away to address Merlin.] I don't think I'm doing this right.

[And with that, the feed ends.]

[Opening the network to find Gwen is not something he was prepared for. His heart races and he sits a while to watch her post over and over, his hand reaches to touch her image.

So close and yet, nothing could ever come of it. There has been so much pain of late he barely feels the addition at first but every time he tries to reply it chokes him, takes the words right out of his mouth.

It's a good twenty minutes before he can compose himself enough to put on a smile for her.]

Gwen - it's good to see you. Merlin speaks the truth, there are many of us here. Arthur will be thrilled to see you.

[And she, he imagines, will be thrilled to see him.]

[She was told Lancelot was here, but at the time she was far more worried about Morgana to truly feel an impact of his presence here. And really? She hadn't thought about it until he actually replied to her video.

He truly was here.]

Lancelot. It is nice to see you as well.

[The smile on her face fades into a look of confusion. Arthur? Thrilled to see her?]

Why would he be thrilled to see me?

[Oh dear Lord no. This is too much. How many trials will the Gods still continue to throw in his path? To step aside for a love he did not even know exist until Merlin blurted it out was hard enough. But for Gwen to be from a time before, from a time when...the only heart that belonged to her was his own...

He cannot handle this. For a moment he contemplates just switching off the feed, ending it there. What is he supposed to do in this situation? What is the right course of action when the woman you love, who you were told will one day fall in love with your king, appears before you knowing as much of it as you did?

For a long moment he just stares in stunned silence, unsure of what to say, what to do, how to conduct himself in this situation.]

I think you had better speak with him.

[This is too much.]

[His answer did not help calm her nerves any. Instead it made her even more nervous to meet up with Arthur. Have things taken a turn for worse here?

Wait.

If they have, why wouldn't Merlin tell her?

This only made her worry more.]

What's going on? [Maybe starting with a simple question would help.] Has something happen?

[What's going on.

Lord, he wish he had an answer for her, he doesn't know himself. But for her sake, he forces himself to calm down and put on a smile, albeit shaky, and come up with a response.]

Nothing bad, I can promise you this. [Not with Arthur, no. Well, it's bad for him, great for them. Never have there been two people more deserving of each other.] I am glad to see you safe, Guinevere.

[He inclines his head respectfully before her; he'll have to distance himself from her, as much as it hurts.]

I am glad to see you safe as well. But if it is nothing bad, then why can you not tell me?

[Worry fills her, despite his reassurance. First Merlin, and now Lancelot tell her to speak with Arthur. They acted like it wasn't important, but if that were true, why couldn't they just tell her?]

Has something happened here that I should be informed about?

It is not my conversation to have.

[Lord help him, he should not have looked at the network today.]

Merlin and Arthur would know better of that, they have both been here longer than I. [And have been at home longer as well. That's where all the problems really happened.]

Of course. I am sorry, Lancelot. I did not mean to make you uncomfortable. [There was no point in hiding the concern and worry in her voice. She just got to this new place and already she felt like things were falling apart.]

You have nothing to apologize for, my lady. [It hurts, it hurts so much, and yet he has to keep up a pretense, has to ignore his feelings and it's hard. But he can do it, Merlin told him he could - he did - or - will do. Either way, it can be done.]

This city is confusing and our time differences do little to help - Merlin can explain those to you if he didn't already.

[Though he says the words, she is having a hard time believing him. Maybe she would feel better is she knew what was going on.]

Merlin has explained a great deal to me. It is still so unbelievable.

[He nods] The unbelievable becomes our reality here, I'm afraid. But worry not, it's not without its advantages, and you are not alone. You will not have to face any of it on your own.

Thank you. [She smiles.] I know that I have not been here for long, but I will still help if you... Well, not just you, of course. Everyone. I'll help everyone. [Catching herself there. She doesn't want it to seem like she'll only help Lancelot. Though she would probably turn to him before the others.]

[He smiles at her, genuinely this time. Lord, how he loves her. The way she talks, just a little too much, the way her hair moves as she speaks, the quirk of her eyebrows...she deserves every happiness, and Arthur can give it to her, he can give her everything that he himself cannot.]

You will make Asgard a better place, I have no doubt of it.

[Yeah, she's blushing. This is so embarrassing.]

You think far too highly of me. I am sure that I won't have any affect on this place. I'm merely a maid after all.

[He shakes his head; to clear it as well as disagree. This is dangerous territory.]

You are not merely anything, Gwen. You have already had an impact on this place, and with time I cannot fathom how greatly you will change it, but I look forward to seeing it.

[She began to blush.]

I just wish to help whenever and however I can. I do hope I do not let you down.

[Hearing these words from Lancelot only made her smile. He had such confidence in her that she couldn't help but feel it herself. Maybe she could do something.]

That is one thing you could never do.

[That smile makes his heart melt and he has to remind himself that he cannot let himself get carried away. He has to end this.]

I will let you acclimate yourself. Ask Merlin to show you how to call me - so you may do this whenever you need.

Yes. I would like to talk with you again soon. Perhaps maybe even seeing each other in person, rather than over this? [Gwen. You're being far too bold again.] Only if you want, of course.

[She never realized how much she missed Lancelot, and spending time with a dear friend is harmless... right?]

[He tenses despite himself, the thought of seeing her in person makes his heart race. He'll have to, he knows. But she won't take him by surprise at least. He can prepare for her.]

Of course. We shall all see each other soon.

I would very much like that. Thank you. [Yes, she does want to see her friends. Having them here was making it far easier to deal with this place, but this was Lancelot. Somehow... he was special.]

[Too much, even. This is so difficult.] Ask Merlin to teach you how to call until then.

Yes, of course. I will talk to you again soon.

[He bows his head and ends the feed, taking a deep shaky breath trying to calm himself down.
