[Some of you may have seen this large, bearded red head around Asgard recently. He looks fairly thoughtful as he addresses his bracelet for what turns out to be the first time to make a post of his own. Rider has been talking to a few people, Equius among them, who have pointed out their part in this ongoing war.

And Rider has been thinking about it. Which is either a very good thing, or a very bad thing.]

I have been discussing this matter with a few others, but we all seem to be at an impasse. So I have come to you, the general populace, for an answer to this question.

Where would we be able to acquire a number of horses?

Rider is so far removed from horses being scary that he can't even comprehend this

To be fair to Bucephalus, any time he's trampled anyone, it was because they had already fallen in battle.

You mean those foul, smoke-belching things?

How so?

You see, people are part of the environment.

Is that it? Then how is a bus more friendly than a simple horse?

It makes noise before it comes in and gives you time to run away.

[Well, hey, at least Rider's not the only one who acknowledges that any means of transportation can be deadly in his hands!]

Wouldn't running away from the bus accomplish exactly the opposite of what it's intended to do?

At least with a bus, you know what to expect.

Are horses really so unpredictable?

Have you spent much time around them?

...that's got nothing to do with it.

Does it really not? I would think having experience with horses would predispose you to know how they act!

Does experience running away from them count?

[getinthechariot]

Not particularly! If you always run from them, how would you ever know what they were like?

[extradite]

By how fast they run after you, and whether they try to kill you in the process.

Well, perhaps you should just stop giving them a reason to chase you! Most animals will give chase if you run from them, you know.
