[Well, Diva's morning has been interesting. Coming back from the dead into a monochromatic castle was definitely not one of the things that she wanted to experience. Nor was trying to figure out what the hell this bracelet was supposed to do, but she manages. Somehow.]

[Unfortunately, it's at a rather inopportune time. The video is showing a rather odd angle, but it rotates on the wearer's wrist to show one of the locals lying on the ground.]

Oh? It turned on?

[The video shows a young woman's face instead, with a dribble of blood coming from the corner of her mouth.]

That's how this is supposed to work? That's stupid. [She frowns in annoyance, but then looks thoughtful instead] Ah~ Actually, maybe I can ask! The people here, they're disgusting. They don't taste right at all.

[sigh! her life is so difficult, can't you see.] Hey, are there any normal humans here? I need to get something to eat, but these aren't worth anything at all.

[She looks off screen, and there's a dull thud, like she just kicked the person laying on the ground. But with that, she gives the "camera" an absolutely brilliant smile, then it cuts out.]

Probably. I didn't really check. Jeez, I don't understand why everyone cares about that so much.

[ ... welp, this could get dangerous. ]

... well, you'll realize it's something most people would care a lot about. [ he considers his next words. ] You were drinking their blood?

[madamemoiselle]

Well of course. I thought that was obvious, but I guess not.

[The angle changes, like she's holding her hand above her head, looking up at the bracelet] These things are weird, after all.

[bloodyperky]

Of course, if I've never seen someone drink blood out of a person before, I'd have a hard time identifying what I saw.

[ he says this clinically, almost as though he were considering it seriously. ]

[madamemoiselle]

[Her demeanor suddenly changes at that clinical tone, and she frowns as if she's bored]

Then I told you, didn't I? It's simple.

[bloodyperky]

But no-one here tastes proper?

[madamemoiselle]

Well, not the ones that don't look right. I don't know about the ones like you.

[bloodyperky]

[ . . . gonna just... ignore that for the time being. ] If you leave dead bodies around, someone might get angry.

[madamemoiselle]

Well, probably, but I'm used to that.

[bloodyperky]

It doesn't sound like a very pleasant thing to get used to.

[madamemoiselle]

Not really. Most humans hate me to begin with, so I don't really care if they get mad or not.

[bloodyperky]

[ ... surprisingly, he finds himself sympathizing. ] If they get angry, though, they might chase you.

[madamemoiselle]

But that's okay. I can outrun them.

[bloodyperky]

Running forever sounds tiring.

[madamemoiselle]

It is. But I don't mind. It's kind of fun, actually. I've been running for as long as I can remember, so doing anything else, that would be weird.

[bloodyperky]

[ ... a brief sigh. ] You'll run less if you take the time you hide a few of the bodies. There are alleyways around that you can cache them-- under bushes or vendor stands at night also works, generally speaking.

[madamemoiselle]

I know that. But why are you telling me? Are you alright with it?

[bloodyperky]

It's just a bit of friendly advice, I guess. Would you rather be my enemy?

[madamemoiselle]

[Sweetly,] I don't want to be anyone's enemy! But it just happens, you know?

[bloodyperky]

Well, for the time being, let's not try to make it happen. I feel like I have enough things to look out for as it is.

[madamemoiselle]

[She frowns, then actually pouts] But that's no fun. I can try, I guess, but that's really mean!

[bloodyperky]

[ he laughs a little, here. ] I'm not a very nice person. But would it make it more fun for you if I told you that this doesn't make us allies, either?

[madamemoiselle]

[Her head tilts, but the childishness evaporates just like that] Well, that's obvious, isn't it? I don't ally myself with humans anyways.

[bloodyperky]

[ no prob, bby. if anything, this guy probably dislikes humans as much as you do. ] Try not to make a mess, next time.
