[She fiddles with the unlit cigarette in her mouth.]

My point exactly. Made it a habit to use them whenever he could. So I decked him.

[He is actually pretty okay with it. It's not like the guy's been seriously injured or anything, after all, and she's got a reasonable excuse.]

Though it's entirely possible he'll keep it up regardless.

I don't want you to get hurt. Especially if he was giving you a hard time and he deserved it.

[He shifts a little, not looking at the camera.]

No, but we had an interesting conversation before.

So... why do you care? I'm a stranger to you.

[It's not said rudely. She's just. Confused. It doesn't make sense to her. No one back home acts like he does. Goes out of their way to help someone they don't actually know.]
