what happens to the versions of us that exist here when we go home?
the memories and feelings and friendships that weve made
it kind of sucks thinking that we are going to lose them
the longer im here, the more it kind of feels like dying

Well you can't make it happen yourself, can you?

How would I know? I couldn't make plants grow by thinking at them before I got here. Maybe there are other things I can do too.

.. i guess it mostly just depends on what happens to you here.

Because the years and days are all screwed up. All of the seasons happen twice as fast.

Mm. Different planet, presumably, of course the seasons aren't going to be identical. I don't know why that would make us stop aging, though.

So we'd age according to our calendar.

I guess it wouldn't be a bad thing.

I want to keep getting older! Not aging would be super weird.

Do you think we could go back after we aged without changing anything?

Maybe we'd de-age when we went back - like how we lose our memories of this place, too? I have no idea.

Probably. It wouldn't make sense to only do one or the other.

I hope we age. If I'm gonna be here for a while, I want something to show for it.

Me too. If I can't keep going to college then I'd at least like to get older. [Well.]

But I don't want to be an old man either.

You were in college before?

I'm a freshman at Tokyo University. Or at least I used to be.

You will be still when you go back, won't you?

Yeah. I'm not dropping out. But would I still be considered a student while I'm in this place?

I dunno.. If I didn't grow plants, would I stop being a gardener?
