Honestly, I don't understand how people don't love snow. It's cold, yes, but...overall, it's just very pretty, isn't it? How could you not love that?

[Well, here's a familiar face to some- Cheriour is standing on top of a snow pile, beaming and looking very proud of himself as his clock eyes tick on.]

[He tilts his head quizzically at the camera.]

But I have to say, I'm a bit confused as to what in the world some people do with it! You see, I'e been reading these books about what people do in the snow, and while some things are rather self-explanatory, others are...less so. For example, snowballs I understand, but what in the world is "snowboarding"? Is that like putting boards on snow, or...? And it seems a lot like skiing, too, by the sound of it! Except...I'm at a loss as to what skiing is, too. It sounds fun to say, though, skiing...

[A pause, before he shakes his head.]

Oh, oh, but there was something that I was very intrigued by in the books I read, and I don't really know if I did it correctly or not, but...I made a snow angel!

[And the camera pans over to show, well, this:]

No, of course not! I'm an angel of the Lord, and I protect the innocent from those who wish to hurt them.

...Seriously? So you made a self portrait of yourself out of snow?

[clockeyes]

Self portrait...? No, no, this is of an archangel! They're the more human-looking out of all of us. If it was a self portrait, I would have made the eyes clocks, because, well, that's what I have.

...You have clocks for eyes. [ That's just creepy, man. ]

[clockeyes]

Yes, I do! They keep the time very well.

[Talking about it as if he's remarking on the niceness of his outfit than the fact that, well, his eyes aren't exactly normal.]

[mccallmemaybe]

So if you need to know the time you just look in a mirror? [ Scott would rather wear a watch, no offense. ]

[clockeyes]

Well, I could, but I've had these long enough to determine the time by feeling where the hands have moved.

Doesn't the ticking get annoying?

[clockeyes]

On the contrary! The ticking is why I got them in the first place.

[mccallmemaybe]

What do you mean?

[clockeyes]

It helps me focus better on my duty.

[mccallmemaybe]

I think I'd end up punching myself in the eyes. [ Or he'd get used to it. ]

[clockeyes]

Ooh, that wouldn't be good at all! Though I got more used to it due to the fact that I'm not completely biological on the inside like you humans are. It was just a matter of integrating them into my systems, that's all.

[ Scott thinks back to what Mr. Clock For Eyes said earlier. ]

Back where I come from, innocent people have been hurt. [ Scott included. He's just a kid who has to deal with people hurting him or trying to kill him on a regular basis. ] Some are even dead. No angel appeared to protect them. [ Hell, Scott has been the angel in most cases, always doing everything he can to protect innocent people in danger.

Scott doesn't mean to sound like he's accusing this guy of being a bad angel, but he finds it hard to believe angels even exist, despite the existence of werewolves in his world. ]

[clockeyes]

[And suddenly, the cheerful expression on Cheriour's face darkens, and he gives the camera a serious expression before stating, somberly.]

I'm sorry that occurred with you, sir. But I do need to remind you, not all worlds have angels...

Also, while I do try to prevent all such events from occurring, alas, I cannot prevent all such things from happening, even though it does pain me. All I can do is deal with those who have already murdered or done serious crimes to prevent them from doing such horrible things ever again.

I don't think my world has angels... but the worlds that do are lucky to have you, even if you can't save everyone. At least you try to make a difference instead of sitting back and letting bad things happen...

[And that smile is back again, though it's kinder as he hears that apology. He lets out a slight laugh.]

It's quite alright, sir! I didn't take any offense. Not many people know of the existence of angels, even where I'm from, but still, we help where we can.

We just want to protect you all because we love you so much, you know?

[mccallmemaybe]

[ Scott laughs a little, relieved his words didn't offend the guy. ] That's really corny... [ Says the guy who says the corniest things ever to his girlfriend. ]

Why is my statement of saying I love all of you humans being compared to a vegetable?

[GUESS WHO DOESN'T KNOW WHAT CORNY MEANS.]

What? [ Scott's a little on the slow side sometimes so excuse how confused he is right now. ] Who said anything about vegetables?

[clockeyes]

You said it was like corn! I do not understand why you would say something like that...is it a good thing, being compared to corn?

[mccallmemaybe]

...Oh. [ Scott gets it now. ] You think corny has something to do with corn! It doesn't. Corny means, like... cheesy. Wait, do you know what cheesy means? It has nothing to do with actual cheese... [ Scott feels like he's going around in circles here. ]

[clockeyes]

...

Are you hungry, sir? Is that why you are suddenly talking about all this food?

[mccallmemaybe]

I am hungry now you mention it... [ Scott, stay on topic! ] It's funny how corny and cheesy pretty much mean the same thing and they're both words with food in them.
