[There's a teenager dressed in a sweater vest with an apron over it on the screen, and he gives an almost shy little wave as if he still feels awkward making posts. In fact, he does. He's standing in the kitchen at Sigyn house, and he has quite a few trays of cookies set out on counters. They all look to be the same kind, with slight variations like different amounts of jam on them or slightly different amounts of browning, etc.

He waves a hand around himself. As well as the cookies, there are a few notebooks lying around, with lots of scribbling on them, as he's worked on the recipe.]

Excuse me, everyone, but I'm afraid I'm need of help. See, I've been baking this type of cookie that isn't my specialty, and I'm not entirely sure which of these batches that I've made is the best. I want to get it absolutely right because they're for a friend, so could anyone please come try some for me? They're called "jammy dodgers" and are kind of like shortbread cookies with jam, so if you're familiar with them especially, I'd appreciate a critique. I'm at Sigyn House.

[Pause.]

Doctor, you can come try some too, but we have to save at least some for the party, okay? Otherwise I'll feel like I didn't give you anything!

[ So he's hanging up now. And ten minutes later he pops his head into the kitchen, grinning. ]

[Some other people have already come and gone, so at least there aren't quite so many cookies anymore. There are, however, still quite a few of them. Each tray has a notecard on it to let Gau know exactly which recipe he used for it, though Gau's notebooks are now stacked neatly instead of sitting everywhere open to different recipes.

He smiles when he sees his friend, of course.]

Hi! I guess I went a little overboard, but I really hope you'll enjoy them...

There ought to be at least some that I like.

[ So he steps inside properly and reaches for the very first kind that he gets to. ]

I would hope so! I'm usually more confident about my baking than this, but I also make the same things a lot, so this is a little different.

[Here's Gau fussing around cleaning a counter that doesn't even need to be cleaned.]

I have every faith that I'll like most of them, then.

[ And he bites off half of the biscuit, and chews very thoughtfully. ]

[This really should not be a nervewracking moment. They're just cookies, after all, and even though they're a gift for his friend, it won't be the end of the world if the Doctor doesn't like them.

Gau's aware of that.

Yet he somehow winds up stepping a little closer, standing there waiting for a verdict like it matters quite a bit.]

[ Don't think he doesn't see that worry, Gau. And he grins at it as he puts the rest of the cookie into his mouth, and then grabs one other sort. ]

Relax, Gau. They're exactly like jammy dodgers.

I'm glad! Though I really might have made too many, but I thought other people probably like them too-

[Actually he hadn't thought about that at all, but let the boy have some dignity!]

But now I have the recipe too!

I'm sure they do.

[ Now if you'll excuse him he'll walk around to try every kind. ]
