[There's a teenager dressed in a sweater vest with an apron over it on the screen, and he gives an almost shy little wave as if he still feels awkward making posts. In fact, he does. He's standing in the kitchen at Sigyn house, and he has quite a few trays of cookies set out on counters. They all look to be the same kind, with slight variations like different amounts of jam on them or slightly different amounts of browning, etc.

He waves a hand around himself. As well as the cookies, there are a few notebooks lying around, with lots of scribbling on them, as he's worked on the recipe.]

Excuse me, everyone, but I'm afraid I'm need of help. See, I've been baking this type of cookie that isn't my specialty, and I'm not entirely sure which of these batches that I've made is the best. I want to get it absolutely right because they're for a friend, so could anyone please come try some for me? They're called "jammy dodgers" and are kind of like shortbread cookies with jam, so if you're familiar with them especially, I'd appreciate a critique. I'm at Sigyn House.

[Pause.]

Doctor, you can come try some too, but we have to save at least some for the party, okay? Otherwise I'll feel like I didn't give you anything!

[ Closing the call, she takes a glance at both the Pokémon egg she was given the other day, and her pet dog Nashi who's napping next to it. Doggy makes for a good source of heat at least.

It's about ten minutes later when she appears in the kitchen, standing by the threshold. ]

[Gau is immediately there to greet her, smiling. He's tried to clean things up a little, stacking his notebooks neatly and organizing the trays of cookies. Each tray of cookies has a little notecard sitting on it, reminding him exactly how he'd modified the recipe for that attempt.]

Hi! Thank you so much for coming to help.

[ Slowly sliding inside the kitchen, she glances at those trays one by one. ]

I have to taste all of these?

[Gau blinks, surprised, as he didn't realize quite how long he'd been doing it himself.

He laughs, a little self-conscious.]

I guess it might have been a few hours now... I just got a little carried away. I always have to experiment a lot when I try to make something new, but I wanted to make my friend's favorite!

It's a kind of cookie. They're not from my part of the world, so I can't give a lot of information on their origin, but they taste very good. I think the name comes from a brand name, but like most things that winds up applied to anything of the type. If you'd like to try one, you're welcome to come do so.

[ they're not from any part of my world, either. robb thinks. but if anything asgard is an opportunity to cross the boundaries between worlds. exchange small cultural things such as this or that. and though robb misses the quiet comforts of the north or the words of men from westeros - he's learning to adapt. the starks will endure, after all. ]

Cookies are a type of baked food. They usually have sugar and butter in them, and can be pretty sweet and sometimes rather rich. There are a lot of different kinds, but they're usually eaten after a meal or as a snack.

[Gau likes telling people things, it's clear by his attitude.]

You can come! Do you know how to get to the Sigyn welcome hall?

I don't have any staff. I'm just a kid who likes to bake and got carried away making too much.
