So...is there a bad way to compliment someone or something? Or at least a better way to do it so you won't get told you need to work on yours. I mean, it's not like I'm bad at it...am I?

People are usually alright when you say it's been nice to meet them aren't they? But it felt like they were mad and happy at the same time. Is that normal in some worlds? I got told I need to practice.

Isn't everything? I just find it mostly interesting that such a relationship has sustained itself in a city like this.

It doesn't matter. We've both changed in different ways with or without this place.

And that just makes it even stranger. [Don't mind him, Lea. Draco's used to things changing and his friends from home immediately abandoning him.]

He didn't have much to say about you when he first mentioned you, by the way. [Which Draco took as a sign that Lea was sort of a Big Deal. Even though Roxas had called him Axel. Whatever.]

Of all the memories he's lost, that's not the one I'm concerned about.

...what if I told you that's one of my projects I'm working on? A memory potion.

What exactly would this potion do?

[because oh you definitely have his attention now.]

One would be designed to erase memories, and the other would be designed to revive them. This set's going to be far more complex than anything I've attempted to create because it involves a lot of specific targeting...but I'm making more progress than I anticipated.

[he doesn't want to erase memories - he knows better than most how important those are. Erasing them is like erasing someone entirely, and that's exactly what he wants to reverse. So the potion bringing back memories...]

Reviving all memories that are lost, or specific ones?

Hence the targeting part of the potion itself. If a person wanted to revive only a few things, take a certain mixture. If a person wanted to revive everything, take something else. Everything has to come down to an exact science...one minute change and the whole thing's damaged and I could end up ruining everything.

However, I'm interested in creating the all-or-nothing set first. [Because this one wants to erase a lot of his own memories.]
