I-I'm sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, b-but... I was wondering...
[He hesitates, debating with himself whether he should continue or not. After a moment of silence Ruca finally asks the question:]
Just... when do you start to consider someone... a "friend"?
[After hearing Bianca's words, Ruca can't help but wonder about that. Making friends is something he's never been good at; not to mention that "friendship" itself isn't something easy for him to understand either. He doesn't even know if anyone would want to be friends with him.Who would want to have such a boring friend as him
There's another pause, as the boy reconsiders what he just had said and quickly, in nervous voice he adds:]
I-It really is a stupid question, isn't it? Y-you don't have to answer... I-I'm sorry for taking your time.

[Because it's something that he'd like to know sometimes, tbh. ...Though matter of fact is he isn't very good at the whole friendship thing either.]

[He thinks.
Still, knowing it's not a stupid question doesn't help much.]

...I guess it's just a feeling you have. Like you want to spend time with them and you don't actually mind having them around.

[And he doesn't think it makes them friends.]
And... what if they don't feel the same about me?
[Exactly what he's worried about.]

Very shy, wasn't he? So Allen speaks kindly -- and with video. ] It's not stupid.
I don't know if there's any particular moment. It's more like realizing they're people you want to see that also want to see you though? People you want to spend time with and care for.
[video]
He nods slightly, thinking this over. He cares for people in general, strangers or not. And he can't exactly think of people who he would mind spending time with. That doesn't really make them friends though... does it?
In other words, this doesn't help much.]
...How can I tell that somebody wants to spend time with me? I mean... I don't really think anyone would want to spend time with someone as boring as me.
[He only reads books all the time. And when he doesn't read, he's usually day-dreaming.]

[He considers his answer for a moment so there is a brief period of silence.]
That is a difficult question, but really it is something only you can answer. How do you feel about the person?
When ever you feel comfortable enough with some one, you like them, enjoy their company and they seem to feel the same way about you. That is usually when I consider them a friend.
voice
[The truth is he usually cares for people, likes them and even kind of trusts them for as long as they don't do something to change that.]

video;
A friend is an ally, someone who you trust to be by your side in good times and bad, but not necessarily the other way around.
video;
Not... the other way around?
[His best friend (unfortunately not present here in Asgrad) told him something different.]

[He feels like that about a lot of people...
Except maybe he wouldn't trust people with some things even if they were his friends.]

Seems like you already got a couple answers about how to tell if you think of somebody else as a friend, right? Did anybody answer about how to tell if they feel the same way?

It would be best to add that there are things he would be afraid to tell anyone even if they were friends.]
